Use this on My Son’s pinewood Derby car. It worked very very well.

I didn't use it on a pinewood derby car, but I had a project where I needed to get some lubricant down inside a part without making an oily mess - graphite dry lube seemed like a good choice, but I was worried about getting it everywhere. The needle tip on this bottle worked extremely well - I was able to get it exactly where I wanted and squeeze the bottle a little to dispense just a touch of powder where I wanted it. My too-sticky-to-work vintage gift is now freed up and operating smoothly, and I have 95% of the bottle left for next time.

Perfect for pinewood derby cars. The applicator is small enough to get into every needed spot and the flow is easily controllable. I’ve kissed other brands that just dump out, and the fact that you can better modulate the volume of flow makes this a solid value proposition for the money.

This is everything you would expect and I won the Pinewood derby race at my work against about 25 contestants who were mostly mechanical engineers.

If you are like me and this is your first experience with building a Pinewood Derby car, and are looking for ways to improve your track time to win that 1st place trophy than look no further! This graphite lubricant made all of the difference when it comes down to gaining that extra little bit of speed to win the race. The best way to gain maximum lubrication is to wet sand the axles and hubs of the wheels. If you can get most of the imperfections out of the wheels and axles, than get a q-tip with some of this graphite on it for the hubs and the axles your car will fly down the track right into the winners circle. After searching everything on the internet I could about making the derby car as fast as possible I decided to order this and try it out and it did not disappoint. Be sure to check your local rules and regulations for which lubricant is allowed. We are now on the 2nd year of being involved in the pinewood derby races and without a doubt this became an absolute must have if you are looking to be the fastest on race day!
