Absolute favorite food our cat has ever had
My daughter (newly on her own) called in a panic that her old kitty couldn’t tolerate her food anymore, she was puking it up and not wanting to eat it so I ordered her some of this brand in the soft food (she keeps some in hard food form to help keep her teeth clean but her attitude tells my daughter she’s serving the wrong one lol). This old cat had such a sudden turnaround after eating this super healthy brand especially made for old gals. She is playful again and loves this so much she will tell you when it’s dinner time and she had never done that her entire life.

Thumbs Up!
My adult cats (ages 12 and 13) like this food because of the gravy. I feed them a combination of Royal Canin and Purina One Indoor Advantage Senior 7+ Wet Cat Food. Their TRUE love is Purina Fancy Feast Gravy Lovers, but I had to switch them to senior food for their health.

Low Phosphorus & a canned food my dry food loving cat will finally eat - Update - Won't touch it anymore
My cat has been eating Royal Canin for more than a year now after I was told I needed to reduce the amount of phosphorus in his food. Previously he preferred dry food which isn't so great apparently for cat kidneys. I started experimenting with the lowest phosphorus canned foods and worked my way through the list until we got to Royal Canin 12+. He loves it. He seems to love the taste and cleans his bowl. I usually top off the can with water before I feed him and it makes a little more gravy. The food has a thick gravy but the can is packed full of mostly food unlike cheaper foods which are mostly gravy with bits of food in it. From my research, this food has 159 mg phosphorus per 100 kcal which is one of the lowest you can find without going to a veterinary diet. I also like it because it has a good amount of protein and a moderate amount of fat and carbohydrates. Switching from dry to canned seemed difficult until we tried this. He switched easily with minimal complaints. The food is obviously more expensive than a lot of foods out there, but there is very little waste. I used to throw out a lot of uneaten cat food before. Not with this food. He cleans his bowl almost always. It also contains glucosamine for joint health which is great. If you've ever tried to feed the powdered glucosamine to a cat then you know how much they like that. I totally recommend this food. It's more expensive but then again, it's a lot cheaper than a veterinary formula. He's been doing great on this food and in more than a year hasn't become bored with it at all. Since being on this food he's stopped throwing up all the time and has stopped crying when he goes to the litter box. Update - After a long and happy relationship of ease and convenience with this cat food my cat sadly suddenly stopped eating it ... right after I got a shipment of four non-returnable cases. I think they've changed the recipe because he's eating the other low phosphorus cat foods I picked up at the store like a champ. If you're looking for a simple way of getting accurate nutrition info on wet cat food just do a web search for cat food phosphorus index. It's the cat info org site. There's a vet out there who has compiled an exhaustive list that includes protein, carbs and fat. Super helpful. Good luck!

My ragdoll with a sensitive stomach doesn't throw it up
This has been good for my 15 year old cat with a sensitive stomach. I first ordered it from Chewy. The 6-pack I got from Chewy of this exact can was more meaty than this order I recently placed with Amazon. I ordered 2 12-packs from Amazon, and they're ALL very watery - more juice than meat. The gravy flies out of the can when I pop the lid, and it goes all over the place. I've just ordered 2 12-packs from Chewy. Exact same as product on Amazon. It arrived in 1 day. Opened a can from Chewy. Yep, more meat than gravy, higher quality. I'm looking at the Chewy can and the Amazon can. They have the same numbers - nothing that indicates the Amazon batch is an inferior batch or "knock-off." However the Amazon expiration date is 11 Feb 2025 - 13 months before the Chewy can's expiration date of 9 March 2026. This is a great cat food. It's the first one my cat has not vomited up. I will continue buying it, but from Chewy only from now on. They get the highest quality Royal Canin. Amazon should check their source for their Royal Canin because it's not worth the price for mostly gravy and very little meat.

Pricier than popular store brands but SO worth it
My senior absolutely loves this food. She recently turned 12 last month, she was 9 when I adopted her. She is by far the pickiest eater I’ve encountered thus far. At first I was feeding her Sheba as it was the only wet food she would touch and is a step up from friskies, which was given to her when she was in the shelter. From there it’s been trial and error, she has severe allergies, stomatitis, and no teeth. Our veterinarian recommend the prescription hills science diet but I wasn’t trying to dish out $70 on a 12 pack of food that she most likely won’t touch. She did also mention the royal canine for sensitive digestive systems so I ended up going and picking up a few different cans to “test” her on and this is the only one she’ll touch. Her skin and fur feel and look great. She’s also managed to put on some actual weight within the small period of time that she’s been eating this food. She’s already of small stature but she was 7.5lbs when I adopted her and I’ve only managed to get her up to 9.0lbs but she’s been at a steady 8-8.8lbs for a few months. I can definitely tell that she’s gaining some weight, not a drastic amount but enough to where she actually looks healthy and well fed. I did read that Sheba was actually taken off the shelves at petco because it lacks in nutritional value that’s recommended for healthy cats so it could also be that she wasn’t receiving the proper about of nutrients. Who knows... I’m just glad we found something that we both like, she looks great and seems as though she feels great and she loves the taste. That’s a win win in my book.

Trashed.
For an aging cat, you think they'd make the food as soft as their loaf. But no. Our cat didn't touch anything but the juice. Trashed.

My senior cat (15 years old) loves it, It is expensive but he is being picky about what he eats.. So since it's good for his health in his age group, figured I would try. He loves it and has more energy and smells pretty good actually. This can is the smaller size but you can get the bigger cans also if you want. Mine prefers a freshly opened can so I took the smaller ones.
