I have some old, comfortable shoes that I wear around the house outdoors. The soles have worn smooth and, as a consequence, if they get wet, there are VERY slippery on a smooth surface. I saw these and thought I would give them a try. I used two pads per shoe - one on the heel and another around the balls of my feet. They work splendidly! No more slipping and sliding when they are wet. I'm SO happy to have the shoe life extended. They are thin, so I don't feel like I'm going to fall over or twist an ankle. HOWEVER, having said all of that, this is a product I'd like to give 4.5 stars to -- the one drawback is the longevity... I'm had them on my shoes for just a few weeks, and these seem to already be wearing smooth themselves. I kind of thought that they would last longer. UPDATE: It's approaching five months and when I looked at the shoes, these pads were nearly completely worn off. I've replaced them with fresh ones. This means that this pack of twelve should last me about 14 months. It is well worth it for the price. Just be aware that you will need to be replacing these regularly.

I purchased these for pointy toe boots. I dislike the cut to fit part and wish they came precut with minimal cutting for sizing. I don't live near a cobbler who does red bottoms so this will have to do in the meantime. I wore them one day for various errands intermittently before wearing for an event one evening. They didn't last through the evening and starting peeling at the toe at dinner (so about 1- 2 hours into the night). They need to be stickier to last more than 1 1/2 wears. I like the traction they provide they just need to be more durable to basic walking since they go on shoes.

We Used these under our Kick Jazz Shoes the padding wore of super fast, and needed some sticking. they stick tight and stay on good, once they are placed, they do not come off! super easy to use and put on shoes, they are easy to cut if you need to adjust the size to the specific shoe.

They work great on rugs and carpets, but it didn’t work on sneakers for me. I actually fell, because the tape rolled up and I fell.

Definitely worth it! My boots were very slick on the bottom and now they are not. They stick very well as I've tried to make them move on the bottom of my boots but they stay in place perfectly!! Definitely would recommend and will buy again for heels or dress boots that are too slick on flooring.

I was hopeful that these would stick to the bottom of my shoes, but one fell off after a day. To be fair, the bottom of the shoes that I used them for didn’t have a smooth surface. I decided to use the rest, by sticking them to the bottom of a rug to keep it from skidding. I put a piece of duct tape on the bottom first, then cut these into strips and adhered them to the tape. It works okay for this purpose.
