Great Plungers!
These industrial strength plungers get the job done! And you can't beat the cost for 2 - cheaper than the cost of 1 at a brick & mortar store! Do yourself a favor & buy these.

Just received it today. Had a tough clog and 2 easy pumps cleared it. Very sturdy.

***Tip For Removing Label***
This is definitely a great plunger! It seals extremely well, from almost any angle. I also like that there isn't a lip on the inside because I like to rinse my plungers once done. Water was always hard to get out of my last plunger that had a lip. My last plunger was a set that included a toilet brush. It was made by Polder, was pleasing to the eye, had a nice holder for both, but the quality was garbage. The quality on this plunger isn't outstanding, but it seems decent and definitely gets the job done. I give this plunger 5 stars for functionality, 3 stars for build quality, and 1 star for the damn label that's nearly impossible to remove. A tip for removing the label is to pour vinegar on it and let it soak for about 5 minutes. The label actually has a clear plastic film on it, and if you're lucky you can peel the plastic film off in a few large chunks before pouring the vinegar on it. Now this still leaves the regular label underneath with all the writing. But removing the plastic film allows the vinegar to soak in nice, and you can scratch the remaining label off in a matter of minutes after soaking. Now if you're not lucky enough to remove all the clear plastic film at first, at least peel part of the label off in a few areas. This allows the vinegar to penetrate underneath the label & get to the glue. I was able to remove the see-through film and all of the label fairly easily after soaking the first plunger in vinegar for 5 minutes, but the 2nd plunger proved more difficult. I soaked it for 5 minutes, peeled some more of the label off, then soaked it for another 5 minutes, then it all came off. I used a non scratch kitchen sponge to remove the remaining glue, which came off very easily after soaking in the vinegar. Hope this helps!

Best plunger I've owned so far!
This plunger functions (out performs) the standard red plunger. The "accordion" style rubber plunger works well to give more force. It is a thick, but pliable rubber. The metal handle functions better than wood handle ones. Also, it has a dome shape inside the cup to help keep it clean.

2.5 years later, still working great!
After two and a half years of usage, this plunger works great, and is going strong. I think I need to buy more, because my college age children are taking them to college! I'll be purchasing more soon! Some tips: 1. get the toilet bowl as full as possible, but not above where the water enters the bowl 2. Keep a previously used gallon container (milk or distilled water or spring water) filled with tap water. Use it to slightly add water to keep the water level high in the bowl, and use it after successful plunging to rinse the plunger off (so it doesn't smell nearly as bad afterwards). 3. Work on getting your plunging technique perfected. Start the plunging motion, and get into a plunge-and-retract rhythm, and continue doing it until you feel like some other forces are at play. You might describe it as the plunging is slighly harder, or you can feel the effect of the back-and-forth motion causing the water in the plugged up area is moving with your rhythm (a very good thing - as the material that caused the clog-up is now loose). 4. Gently pull the plunger up, so that the bowl can empty. If you had a nearly full bowl of water, all that water now will help push the clogging material out of the toilet (and much beyond). 5. Rinse the plunger with water (a gallon of tap water standing by is helpful now). 6. Once the toilet refills with water, flush it again. This has an addition cleaning effect on the sides of the toilet's lower water paths of material that might contribute to future clogs.

Best Plunger Ever!
After trying all kinds of plungers, including the new fangled pressure gun type, this is the best yet. Despite the handle being rather lightweight, this toilet plunger opened my clog immediately. The rubber compression portion appears to be well made, of a thick rubber material. It has a bellows design and it actually has several portions in the bellows to aid in suction - which is an important part of dislodging a clog. I highly recommend this unit!

Best plunger I've ever used
I had a nasty toilet clog. So bad that it lasted 2 days with over an hour of plunging with the standard POS plunger. It was strange as the clog would let a small amount of water through, but wouldn't effectively flush solids. I didn't even know toilets could have partial clogs. I was starting to think that there was something seriously wrong with my waste water pipes. I was determined to hold my morning BM until this plunger showed up, but I didn't quite make it. After a mostly unsuccessful flush, this was finally delivered. I used it for about 90 seconds, the toilet made a funky loud sucking sound, and then flushed completely! The plunger was super easy to rinse, as it is smooth rubber with no internal ridges. I'm in love... with a plunger. Wtf.

Telescoping handle does not lock which renders the plunger useless!
The telescoping handle did not lock on the plunger which renders the plunger useless. It has definite potential to be a great set as the caddy is aa very nice looking way of storage for both plunger & brush but the plunger being the major piece & unusable definitely kills any & all potential & it appears that it is something that happens appallingly often. I would not recommend this set with the telescoping handle & would go for the regular handle instead. The brush works great & makes quick work of cleaning the toilet. They get you by throwing in the handy little sink plunger which my set was missing as well. Very disappointing!

Why spend more than £5 on a toilet plunger? Because it's absolutely worth the money. This works far better than the widely available inexpensive 'red-headed' plungers. It's an effective tool, solidly made. We've been through our share of 'red-headed plungers'. Never again. This one is far better designed and made, and has never turned inside out. Whatever plunger you use, remember to PULL, not push to clear the toilet blockage. Press the plunger down firmly against the drain hole of the toilet bowl, then pull UP smartly to release the solid matter blocking the drain. All toilets differ. But with this plunger we've never needed to do this more than twice at most to clear a blockage, because the plunger end fits over the toilet drain so much better then the 'red-headed' models and similar. It's fast, it's effective, and that's what you want when the water in the bowl is going up instead of down. When its work is done, pour bleach or toilet-bowl cleaner into the bowl to make a quick cleaning solution. Leave the plunger sitting in that for a few minutes. Then swish it around well, flush that away, then rinse the plunger in the clean water that returns to the bowl. Afterward, remember to lean the plunger to one side to dry, with the top of the handle resting against the wall and the bowl end tipped up. If you leave the working end sitting flat on the floor, air can't circulate underneath to dry it, and it won't be fun cleaning out the resulting mold and mildew. Make life easy: care for your clever plunger as above and it will stay fresh and ready to use whenever the inevitable toilet emergency arises (pun intended).

The toilet plunger needs to be extended and you continually turn it "righty-tighty" AKA Anti-clockwise, until it locks, then "lefty-loosy" AKA clockwise, until it's unlocked. It's not that you turn it once and it's locked/unlocked. It's a threaded system where you are screwing the bottom into the top part of the handle. Good price, not tested yet, just wanted to ensure other people don't give a 1 star since they cannot figure out how to turn a handle :D

Love it and came just in time. Was looking for a good quality plunger after my last one disintegrated. Definitely worth the price!

Pretty solid build, with metal stem and thick rubber.
