I still have the old one and it still works greats. But I now have a one year old and wanted to get one for her, so I bought this one. This is a generic version of the one I have. It doesn’t spin as smoothly and I think that makes a big difference in the bowl actually working. I posted a photo; the one on the left is the authentic one and you can see where it says Gyrobowl, the one on the right is the generic one. I’m returning this one and will keep searching for an authentic one. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Smart kiddos will spill items out anyways *by J***Y on Reviewed in the United States on April 14, 2019* I thought I would love this bowl and carrying snacks would be easier since my little one would not be able to pour the bowl out. Oh I was so wrong.... my 1 year old is too smart and ornery for his own good. He has learned if he throws the bowl hard enough onto the ground it will spill and if he just hold on to the rotating parts he can make it spill that way as well. If your child is sitting in a high chair or at the table it works perfectly provided he or she does not wear it as a hat. If your child is walking around with it held somewhat parallel it works perfectly but not if he or she carries it like a purse or a tool box.
