Honey wax works really well. It removes hair smoothly and leaves the skin soft and moisturized. The natural honey scent is pleasant, and it’s gentle on sensitive skin. I’m very happy with the results.

Fairly impressed with this soft wax. I was looking for an alternative to the Nads Sugar Wax which was reformulated and is garbage now. I don’t have any fancy tools, warmers, soothers, ect. I warmed it up gently in a small pan of water until it got to its creamy consistency and then applied as usual with a wide popsicle stick and waxing strips. I did notice that the wax was insanely sticky, which is why it worked so well to remove even some shorter hairs. I simply used some vitamin E oil to remove leftover wax and stickiness and to smooth out my underarm skin. Overall I really do like it and will most likely buy some more when I run out.

I usually use the tea tree variety of this wax, which works really well. I thought this might do a better job of getting coarse leg hairs, like not leaving as many strays that need to be tweezed. I was wrong! It does seem stickier but somehow doesn't do any better at pulling the hair out. It does seem to stick to the skin more causing the skin to be more irritated. Worst of all, it's so dark that you can't see the hair stuck to it. Seeing how much hair you've ripped out of someone's legs, or wherever, is somehow super satisfying. This wax completely removes that satisfaction.

Okay. So I have read MULTIPLE reviews on this brand of wax. Spend 3 weeks researching and this wax keeps popping up. I realize that even though there were good AND bad reviews I still had to try this for myself because what works for one may not work for the other. I have coarse hair on my legs. I'm average when it comes to being hairy. I use to get my legs professionally waxed but I was left with patches of hair when they finished (I was mad since I was paying $90+). I decided to do my legs myself and guess what? This is the wax they use at the salon to wax my legs! I was nervous at first but I did a better job than the woman at the salon!!!!! The wax pulled out all my hair! I had no problem with it. Yes, the wax is sticky and makes a mess but I put an old sheet on the floor so the wax gets on the sheet and not on my carpet. Problem solved! This wax is great. No skin irritaion (and I have REALLY sensitve skin). I'm glad I took the chance and bought this wax. To the reviewers who were unhappy with the product....maybe you are doing something wrong (too much oil or lotion on the skin .....you didn't exfoliate the say before.....you are not pulling the wax strip up correctly (it has happen to me and you are left with hair still at the root) or you need to watch some videos on correct hair removal using wax). Even for an avivd salon goer, like myself, I still watched 2-3 video on waxing before I attempted it myself. End result- I LOVE it. I'm reordering.

Superior wax at an awesome price! I am a true DIYer. I do my own gel manis/pedis and all of my own waxing services. I use the Gigi hard wax for most hair removal (eyebrows, armpits, brazilian, nose etc...) when I decided to add my legs to my waxing regimen, I knew I wanted another Gigi product. Being a black woman with coarse hair, I decided on the Dark Honee. I did not let the bad reviews dissuade me (I actually took them as a challenge)! Prior to using this wax I had never before used a soft wax, and I had absolutely no trouble with it. The wax easily removed the hair from my legs. It is not messy (I posted pics of my waxing area after I finished both legs)... It is sticky, but if it were not it would not remove the hair properly...I highly recommend this wax. I will be using it to wax my legs from now on!

Esthetician here! I brought this to use on my clients with course dark body hair. I works great however it pulls the skin a bit more than the regular Gigi’s honey so keep that in mind. Definitely not for sensitivity skin folks.

The item was just as described, but arrived banged in on two sides making it impossible to insert completely into the heating container. I would be a good idea to pack it in a box, and not just a small bubble wrap envelope. I'd like to order this again, but I am really hesitant the next one will arrived damaged also.

Wack! it gives me bruise and I am still hairy chick! Maybe I do not know how to wax properly, I will not try for a long time...
