PAC Strappin Machine Grade Polypropylene Strapping

Wish I had this sooner! I ship a lot of boxes for my business each week and sometimes it helps cut shipping costs by doubling up boxes to make one box. This strapping makes this possible and way easier than using miles of packaging tape to tape 2 boxes togethe and hoping if it will stay sticked to the box. This strapping does require additional tools to make it work (manual ratchet style tensioner, buckle clips, and buckle fastener/), which is more expensive but for me it was a needed investment that quickly pays for itself. Can use it for anything to secure a load but ideally used for stuff on pallets, crates, boxes, etc... Another cool thing is that the straps can be used as handles to carry the box when finished. If you ship a lot of big boxes and still using cheap tape like I did, stop buying the cheap tape and get this strapping and tools it will save you money down the road.

I purchased this for strapping our palettes. I was hoping to get an enforced plastic material, but this one is more of a cloth material. The cloth like material does not help during the palette strapping , since it is fairly flexible. IT easily come together, lose its shape, slips from the buckle, flexes and so on. I ended up using the traditional hardened plastic strap instead of this. Unfortunately, I was not able to return/get a refund for it since I missed the return window. So, I do not recommend this product if you intend to use for pallet strapping.

I was looking for THICK woven strapping, and using the manufacturer and code, research showed it was 0.052" thick.Unfortunately, it turned out to be only 0.021" thick, though it's plenty strong.I have to add a "filler" for my hand crimper to tighten the metal locking tabs, however, so if you need THICK strapping, this is not for you.

It did not have the wax coating and keeps unraveling off of roll. Still strong twine but way to large of a roll to not have something on it so it doesn’t unravel!!

I buy 2 boxes a year for shrink wrapping boats. Never had an issue after several years

I use this for installing shrink wrap boat covers. - Inexpensive & works well.

We use this cord with the metal buckles to bundle the boards we saw at our sawmill. This works great and is strong. Helps keep our boards together.
