Great fit and finish that blends in well with our tow hitches. No signs of rust or fading from being outside all the time. The rubber cap can go missing fairly easy if you're not careful. These types of locks aren't unbreakable, but it does help deter theft, because rather than removing a pin without any tools and taking your hitch, a thief would at least have to commit to breaking the pin. A step many wouldn't bother doing especially in a public space. Cheap, easy to use peace of mind.

Definitely feels like a solid lock. Like I think another person mentioned though, it does help to modify it if you are OCD about the lock fitting snuggly. It is a super easy and cheap modification though. I went to the hardware store down the street and found perfect little #11 O-rings (3/4" O.D. x 9/16" I.D. x 3/32") in the plumbing section that work great. Stuck 3 on the end where I will never have to touch them again and I am using 1 on the locking side. Obviously, that one has to be put back on before I lock it every time, but it is not a big deal. And, if I ever lose it, those O-rings came in a pack of 10, so I will survive. It is not my favorite locking mechanism (I like the ones where you push the locking bolt in to lock it, not requiring the key in it), but as few times as I mess with my hitch lock, the black color and slim profile were my priorities. Hope this review helps folks.

Had this locked on my truck for 3 years securing a step bumper to the trailer hitch. I gave the lock and the step bumper to a friend after I sold the truck. We both like how it holds up to weather and two-legged varmints. A nice lock for the price.

Has to replace a cotter pin system that was not as secure. Bought a nice hitch cover and didn't want it walking away

Great product! The weight is nice, the color, and paint are quality. Comes with 2 keys. The cap over the key hole seems a bit flimsy but i will report back to inform how long it holds up.

Fits well .. a bit difficult to lock and unlock .. would of made life easier if both pieces click and the lock doesn’t rotate

It has protected my towbar from theft several times. However, after five years it the locking mechanism jammed up and needed to be grinded off.

Arrived in clear sealed bag, without keys. One of the zip ties was replaced with a twist tie. Edit: Replacement was shipped and it arrived complete. A great locking pin for our hitch. Works well. Dust cap keeps the keyway clean.
