L-Carnitine Tartrate Powder (100 Grams) - 1 Gram per Serving; 100 Servings

I tested low in carnitine and like to scoop this into my vitamin drink. It has an extremely tart taste but it goes pretty well with the “magnesium calm” raspberry powder for a delicious drink.

I use Nutricost's Carnitine, Citrulline Malate, and Beta Alanine together as my pre-workout while fasting in a 3g - 2g - 3g ratio, along with pink himalayan salt and caffeine. It doesn't break a fast which is the primary reason I ordered these specific products. I ordered their products on Sunday afternoon and they arrived the next day on Monday afternoon and I don't have Amazon Prime. It tastes like concentrated citrus when I mix them all together, which I'm perfectly fine with. I just dump them all into my little Ramekin that I use to take shots of powdered supplements and down the hatch it goes, washed down with some room temp coffee which is where the caffeine comes from, and I wipe the tart away with a bit of salt followed by some water. The first fasted workout while using this combination of supplements was phenomenal. I do weight training for 45 min to an hour followed by 30 min of swimming, and usually after a 24 hour fast I'm barely able to swim after lifting weights. I was a god in the pool even on a 24 hour fast and after doing eccentric weight training, and I think a lot of it is due to these natural supplements making energy more available in my body. I also noticed my VO2 max was increased which is probably why I found cardio easier. I'm also keto if anyone is wondering.

My doctor suggested I purchase l-carnitine as well as the acetyl version of carnitine for fatigue and brain fog. The pills at the office were really expensive so I decided to look for alternatives on Amazon. This powder version was a much better price point and I like that there were none of the fillers like silica, rice flour etc, that come with taking the capsules and tablets. I also like the pleasant tart lemon flavor the powder adds to my water. I definitely notice some effect when taking it. I feel more alert, awake. I often mix it BCAAs and Glutamine as my homemade preworkout drink as well. My doctor suggested taking it with d-ribose which gives it a little sweetness. My only complaint is with the packaging. At least with the smaller jars 3 ounce jars. The scoop that comes with it has a tiny handle and the mouth of the jar is small. So every time I want to use this powder I have to dig my fingers in the jar to find and grab the scoop. I always end up with sticky fingers and powder spilled on the counter. It’s so annoying. Also, I notice the powder isn’t as fine, over time, it’s clumpy and sticky. Probably from twirling my fingers in it every morning. I was almost going to switch to taking the pill version because of how messy this is, but I actually enjoy the taste of this powder in my water. I plan to look for a different container I can pour this powder in, and maybe search for the right measuring spoon with a longer handle, or just keep the scoop it comes with separate from the powder. I’ve tried other brands like Jarrow and Now, I don’t notice any difference in quality or effectiveness when comparing to Nutricost. Nor with the $70 bottle of carnitine pills I purchased from my doctors office. That said, save your money, and just get this one.

Not unflavored as requested. Says it is but has sweet lemon taste! I will update once i use this after a few weeks.

This stuff works well when you are in a calorie deficit. The first time I took it was in the morning on an empty stomach and thirty minutes later, I felt a huge burst of energy that was very different from caffeine. I don't feel tired or exhausted. I'm able to get an extra few reps or sets at the gym. As for the fat loss part, I'm not sure yet. The supplement does have a taste. When you mix it with water, it tastes like the refreshing water that had a whole bunch of sliced lemons submerged in it. Very refreshing and easily goes down the hatch. I would recommend.

It does the job but you need to be more towards diet control and weekly 5 sessions of cardio/muscle building

Ya había consumido líquida y siento que está en polvo me gustó más porque rinde muchísimo y está a buen precio. Había leído comentarios que huele a pescado o algo así, pero yo al prepararla le siento como un sabor cítrico, y es fácil de tomar. Yo la preparo con agua y me gusta. Trae su cucharita para preparar la porción. Solo no le saquen la bolsita que sirve para que no guarde humedad y en mi caso cada cierto tiempo como que el polvo se compacta en ciertas partes y lo único que hago es cerrar bien el frasco y agitar para que se despegue bien el polvo y vuelve a quedar bien. Con respecto a su función todavía no podría opinar porque llevo apenas unas semanas probandola, pero yo la compré más como antioxidante pero estoy empezando a hacer ejercicio también.

The product arrived completely hardened and unusable. It was not powder at all, but a solid block, clearly damaged and likely exposed to moisture. This is unacceptable for a supplement and raises serious concerns about storage and quality. I cannot use it and do not trust its safety. Do not buy this product
