Its a long lasting charge and and quick to recharge. the controls are pretty responsive. Without the antenna its a bit more sluggish even when you are right up next to the tank, but pretty solid when you have the antenna connected. *bonus points* Its a very quiet toy. If you are a parent you know what I mean.

Bought it to try and sink at the lake with waterproof black jack fireworks. Worked really well and survived a small garage. ONLY downside is I Bought a similar one for my buddy and they were both on the same frequency so we couldn't use them both at the same time
