Rollerball Pen for Men Women Luxury Metal Executive Pens Home Office Use, with Delicate Box

UPDATE: I'm not going to drop any points because this is still a really good deal, but be aware that the refills included are rollerball-shaped gels, not real water-based rollerballs. I didn't notice at first because I only tested them briefly on a scrap of paper to make sure they weren't dry, but when I started writing I noticed the telltale need for a bit of pressure. They are pretty good gels though. Original review: Sometimes cheap pens look like a more expensive brand, but are junky when they show up. Not this one. This is almost flawlessly executed and looks identical to a pen selling for triple under a different name. All of the parts fit well, all screw threads are metal. The pocket clip is a solid piece of metal mounted on an internal spring, which is pretty much the best way to make clips. The rollerball refills appear to be the same as are used in a lot of Chinese pens. The ones I got are nice and fresh, and they work great when they aren't dried up which often happens when buying replacements. FYI, these have the air intake on the back end (very tiny gaps on the side of the rear plug), so the storage cap on the front of the refill only prevents the tip from drying out (which has a wax blob sealing it anyway). I recommend wrapping the back end of the refills in masking tape for long term storage so they don't dry out from the back. My only complain is that I wish the grip section were a bit longer (holding it normally, my thumb is resting on the ridge where the body steps down to go inside the edge of the cap). But you can see this from the picture, and some people prefer to use a rollerball by letting it hang on their fingers from that point, so judge for yourself. But I give it full stars because it's such an amazingly sleek pen for so cheap.

I do like this pen and have ordered my second one since the first one came apart. If I had to provide any feedback on the quality I would say that the cap does not really stay on the back very well when using the pen. Also, with this order I thought the item I ordered was a little different color since the main pic looks almost like gun metal, and in reality it is just plain silver. A little disappointed since I thought it would be little darker. Just change up the main picture to be a more accurate reflection of the item.

This is my second of these, the first was given to it's admirer. i received the pen with cartridge install, plus two more refills, in a clear-plastic clamshell inside a cardboard sleeve with Nekigoen branding. The only other branding is on the cartridges. i thought the packaging was appropriate at this price point and it is consistent with the branding and presentation of their refill offering. i thought it was all pretty good for a company that might aspire to be a quality brand in the market place. A word about the refill, it appears to be a gel refill in a rollerball suit and it's a good writer at 0.5mm. The pen is brushed stainless steal with polished accents. Weight is a touch on the heavy side. There's no branding on the pen, not even the word "China." A clicking cap. It receives a variety of gel refills; Pentel, PaperMate, Uniball Signo, and I imagine many others. There is a spring inside the pen body to adjust for the minor length differences of the brands. Don't let that spring get away when you swap refills. The pen will not take refills from Zebra, Pilot G2, or the Euro standard rollerball refill, the point apperture is a precise fit for Nekigoen refills. i've used it for weeks. The cap posts better over time. The cap doesn't mar the body when posted. i bought it to use refills from all the plastic gel pens that have found a home here, pen's great for that. The Jetstream RT refill is a terrific match with this pen. The pen's weight activates the ballpoint on paper, no hand pressure is needed to have the pen glide on the paper. The pen's good enough that i will tinker with it to accept the euro refill

I really like this pens as a intro into "nice" pens. The body seems to be all metal, there is a plastic insert in the cap, which I like because it won't mar up the body when posting the cap. The writing tip and threads are a coated metal which was a pleasant surprise, I assumed they would be plastic. I prefer Pilotv5rt refills which FIT!!!! Unfortunately Pilot g2 refills do not fit. I ordered another one and may order a precision drill bit to try to adapt it, or give it to someone as a gift, or keep as a back-up. The supplied refills aren't horrible but the one I have is noisy. It's not the refill moving around it seems like it's the rollers inside the refill but like other reviews said the qc on the refills is probably not the best. Waiting to see if the ohto c-305 will fit this pen. Overall I'd say but this pen for the body and if you get descent refills then you get a bonus.

This is one of the best buys for pen lovers/nerds on Amazon! Pen nerds will love this...they even give you the refills with the wax tips to preserve ink freshness. This is comparable to a Cross-pen-quality, I just wish I knew more about this company and who makes them (they should be more popular); as it'd be super cool if they'd have refills for sale. This pen's super classy and a must-have for the pen enthusiast. No wonder they sell out of this model so quickly! Thanks guys!

One of the small, but great joys in life is writing with an awesome pen. I write a lot at work, and felt that was a perfect excuse to buy a fancy pen. I chose well when I picked this one. The pen itself is nice, and I used about one refill per month, and like I said, I write A LOT. I just ordered the 15 pack refill set for $10, which is a great deal, should last more than a year. Do not be fooled at how cheap this pen is, it’s fantastic!

Although a very nice writing instrument, the cap of the pen is always coming off, whether its in my pocket or in my hand. Cap needs to be more secure on the pen.
