excellent jack
In the past I was limited to auto zone or others. If I got two years out of their moderately priced items I was lucky. This is a professional jack. Yes it is heavy as jacks will tend heavy if they are well built and designed for heavy use. I need a jack now only occasionally but when I need one I need it to work immediately and every time.. Its initial height to get under things is very low, I changed tires as a kid and this is every bit as good as any jack I used back then.

Works great
I have owned and used a professional MAC Tools floor jack for almost 40 years. It finally stopped working last week. After reviewing several different ones, I ordered & received an Arcan 3-ton Hybrid. It was packed well and had clear set-up instructions with warning labels. The jack saddle is 4" above the floor when lowered and 19" when raised to the max. Pump effort is not as difficult as the old MAC, and it doesn't require as many strokes. I have seen complaints about this jack being heavy. All I can say is this jack is very light compared to the steel Mac unit I own. The included information package list the weight as 58.08 lbs., and I think that is correct. Others have indicated USA made, but according to the label on the jack, it is made in China. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. My only complaint is they put it on sale for $38.00 less 3 days after mine arrived. Oh well.

Strong shop jack.
This my second ARCAN jack. My first one has been reliable and strong. I expect this new one will be as well. They are a bit heavy so I would not buy a 3 ton for throwing in the back of my car. But they are fine shop jacks. Nice finish on these devices.

Reasonably portable and handled a Tesla without any issues
Used this to jack up a Tesla Model Y Performance to swap out wheels for the winter - needed no effort to hoist that beast up in the air (use jack pucks!) to be able to switch out both wheels at the same time. Minimal assembly and it appears to be well-constructed. Not cheap but you're getting what you pay for.

Excellent Jack but the Rubber Pad will crack
After reading many reviews and cross comparing 3-ton jacks, I settled on this Arcan Hybrid. Overall, I'm very happy with this jack. Pros: - Lifts quickly - Lowers gently with some finessing of the handle (practice a bit and you'll get good at it) - Sturdy as anything and quite heavy despite the hybrid construction (no biggie as I roll in around the garage and don't carry it) Cons: - After using the jack 4x the rubber pad on top cracked and became useless. The pinch weld jacking point on the vehicle's frame pushes down onto the pad and the rubber isn't strong or resilient enough to withstand it. I took the advice of another reviewer and purchased a rubber hex grip to put on the handle. Fantastic tip from that reviewer and I'm quite pleased with this addition to the jack. Bottom Line: - Jack itself gets Five Stars - Rubber Pad on the Jack saddle gets Zero Stars I wonder if the manufacturer makes a replacement pad? I would need to order a dozen of them.

This is an extremely stout jack. Relatively low profile which aids in jacking up sports cars, and does not require substantial force to use. Finish seems quite durable, and the jack very smoothly and predictably releases pressure when lowering the car. Would recommend to anyone looking for a long term jack solution.
