Goaycer 24K Gold Plated Banana Plugs

Great plugs and amazing value for the money. Easy to use and tighten and the screw cover works wonderfully. Even comes with a couple extra screws in case you lose one. The sound is better than what I had and I used 14 gauge wire. Plugs were perfect, not too tight at all. I could see having to push for new posts but they are snug and didn't take too much force to put in. 10/10

These 24K gold-plated banana plugs are a solid choice if you’re looking for an easy and reliable way to connect your speaker wire. The connectors feel sturdy, and the gold plating gives them a clean, professional look while also helping prevent corrosion. Installation was straightforward — the wire slots fit snugly, and once tightened down, the connection feels secure. I used them for both my home theater and stereo setup, and the sound quality is clear with no noticeable interference or loss. The pack includes 6 pairs (12 plugs), which is plenty for most speaker setups, and they fit my receiver and speaker terminals perfectly. My only small complaint is that the screws could be a bit tighter or smoother when clamping the wire — you just need to make sure they’re seated properly to get the best hold. Still, once installed, they stay firmly in place.

These are very good connectors. Just got them and took them out of the package this morning 11/06/2025. They will work great for non solid wire.

I'd been using the famous, oft-recommended Monoprice banana plugs for a small amp and bookshelf speakers on my desk for nearly a decade before trying these. With the Monoprice versions, I had intermittent issues with unequal volume between the two channels, and could often produce crackling or drop-outs just by jiggling the speaker wire anywhere along its length. In hindsight, the Monoprice design is very flawed: it requires you either to fan out tiny wire strands into the plug, or alternatively, "trap" a tinned wire end horizontally through the small holes and then tighten down the plug by hand. Neither of these produce a fully secure connection over a large surface area inside the plug. These Goaycer plugs are totally different. You insert the wire end into the plug vertically, then tighten down two different set screws about half an inch apart to lock the wire firmly into place. This produces a secure connection along the length of the plug that won't be affected by normal wear and tear, items lightly tugging on the speaker wires, etc. The only way the wire can come loose is if you manually loosen the set screws. My wire ends are tinned, but I think these plugs would work just as well even with freshly cut speaker wire (maybe just twist the strands before inserting into the plug). The only downside is that it takes about 1-2 min per wire to attach these plugs due to needing a mini flathead screwdriver for the set screws, vs. 10 seconds per wire by hand with the Monoprice design. But that's a feature, not a bug, in my book. Now that I'm getting full, equal volume from both speakers that doesn't change even when I tug on the wires, I wish I'd gone with these a long time ago.

I wanted to bi-wire my speakers, so this 12 pack was just right for that purpose. Easy to use - there are 2 cable retention screws on each body of the plug, so provides good security of fixing and connection for the cable wire. Set comes with 2 spare screws in case of any loss - a nice touch. Firm, secure fit in the banana sockets on the back of my Mission speakers - no wobble or looseness. Overall, I would recommend these at what seems a good value price.

This product has a unique way of connecting the wire to the plug .A two screw in the plug to secure your wire.So no pulling out wires from the plugs.Really secure.A another advantage of these plugs they have a really tight fit on to the speaker post.(No plugs popping out when you turn your amplifier around)Also the company that sells this products gives you extra screws to go into the banana plugs.Why you ask?However good you are at using putting screws in you will lose a screw.You will not regret purchasing this product.
