Comes with some cheap padded junk armor but it's fully removable so you can replace with good stuff. Certainly better than nothing and a nice addition even if you'll want better plates. Definitely a spring and summer jacket with amazing ventilation. If using in winter it's best to add an extra layer for warmth as this jacket doesn't provide much, which is kinda the point.Brightly colored and highly visible for safety. Likely won't last but for the price it'll get.you on the road until you can get better.
