I have very sensitive eyes, almost any face/eye gel or lotion makes them burn. This does a great job, plus, best of all, it doesn't make my eyes burn. I can't tell you how rare of a find this is!

This eye gel is extremely sheer, and I was looking for something more hydrating than this for my eye area. However, I have combination to dry skin, and I have found during the dry winter months in Minnesota, this eye gel is not moisturizing nor hydrating enough for me. Another big downside is that if I wear eye makeup that day, after cleansing this gel will sting the area around my eyes. If I don’t wear eye makeup, it won’t sting, but that’s a huge issue for me. One plus is a little goes a long way.

Nice, cooling gel. I have sensitive skin and it is gentle, comfortable and effective.

My normal beauty routine is pretty minimalist (I don't wear makeup), but eye treatments are the one product I use faithfully every day. I normally use eye creams and had never tried a gel before, so BeauKON's Hyaluronic Acid Soothing Eye Gel was a new experience for me...but I was impressed by the product and the price.As other reviewers have noted, the gel does feel a bit sticky when it's first applied; however, the sticky feeling dissipates once it is absorbed by the skin. It does feel soothing, refreshing, and hydrating around the delicate under-eye area, though not as rich and moisturizing as my usual eye creams. I see this product as being a supplement/addition to eye creams rather than a replacement for them.One notable upside with this gel is that it doesn't cause the kind of stinging sensation I typically feel when I apply my current eye creams. (I have very sensitive skin, so the normal "tightening" effects cause a brief burning sensation on me.) I'd occasionally been skipping eye cream whenever my eyes are irritated from seasonal allergies, but I'm able to use BeuKON's eye gel even when my eyes are itchy, puffy, or irritated because it feels so gentle on my sensitive skin.I was a little disappointed that this product didn't arrive shrink-wrapped or in a sealed plastic bag; apart from reassuring customers that the product hasn't been tampered with, it helps prevent evaporation and leakage. Amazon shipped this in a padded envelope, so the outer packaging/box got slightly battered in transit (not a big deal, as the plastic jar inside didn't suffer any damage). When I first opened the jar, I noticed some gel had leaked around the edges of the plastic cap (beneath the screw-on lid), so it was a little messy/sticky until I wiped it down. And though it's a little hard to tell exactly how much product was in the container (since the gel is completely clear), there was a fairly large air pocket on top...so I'd estimate the jar was about 2/3 full of gel. I'm not sure if the rest evaporated, or if they only filled the container partway.But overall, I've been very happy with the performance and the price of this BeauKON Hyaluronic Acid Soothing Eye Gel. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an affordable eye treatment that's gentle on sensitive skin!

I go back and forth on my response to this eye gel. I normally use Enchanted Eye Cream by Lush; it’s very mild, and I am completely comfortable with it.My initial experience with this eye gel was that I could detect the scent through the packaging; the lid had come loose a bit and the jar was leaking. That is a packaging/shipping error on Amazon’s part and does not factor into my rating (although I get annoyed when the distributor can’t be bothered to package the product properly). Anyway, the scent is very light and pleasant. Also, considering that you only need a tiny bit of gel to cover the eye area, this little jar is going to last forever, so, incredible value for the money.My major issue is that the gel upon application is rather sticky. I much prefer the consistency of a light cream - for application purposes. It takes a bit of practice to get the right tiny amount of gel on the fingertips and then to dab it - don’t rub - on the skin around the eyes. If you get the gel in your eyes, it is not fun. Trust me on that.The results with this gel, versus the eye cream I normally use - no comparison. The gel is way better. A full 24 hours after application, the skin around my eyes still feels hydrated and silky. So in spite of my issues with the stickiness and the stinging if it gets in my eyes - I am pretty sure this will be my go-to product for the skin around my eyes. Recommended, with a couple of caveats.
