My 5 year old loves this hoop! It’s not flimsy on the door- it holds. It’s also a break away rim. Overall I recommend it.

This product requires almost no assembly -- just insert the hoop into the backboard and pump up the ball. It's a nice hoop but the bracket holding the hoop onto the backboard broke quickly when my kid pulled on the rim. So be aware that the bracket is not strong and won't hold up to rough play. IMO, it would be better if it had a screw with a nut instead of a basic metal fastener that can pull out easily. If you use the hoop for basic shooting without slam dunks, pulling, etc., it'll be a good buy. When ours broke, I emailed the company not really expecting much but the customer service folks really went above and beyond in responding quickly and sending us a free replacement. In the meantime I had gotten another one (made by Franklin Sports) but my kid liked this one from WinSports better because the plastic backboard is thicker and less flexible and bendy. Hopefully this new one will last longer with more careful play.

This was gift for a grown mans birthday. My best friend and her husband have the same birthday and I got this approved for him to put on the back porch. He loves it so much! He has always loved basketball and I knew he was wanting to turn the back porch into a man cave kinda. Great gift and would definitely purchase again!

Overall good, sturdy backboard. Easy assembly. Hangs over door, and yes you are able to close it! Very flexible hoop. Good size ball, and good pump. There is a space in the pump handle to store the needle. Only issue was backboard had a few scratches, but nothing serious. Overall it is a good product.

The only thing I dont like is we cannot get the bolt to come put for the breakaway aspect. Otherwise it is good and was happy it fit over the bedroom door as it is thicker door and traditional over the door hooks are not wide enough, however this fits perfectly.

I got this for my nephew for Christmas, of course I had it to him the same day it came in and he loves it!! He has special needs and this is a perfect gift for him to be active and he focuses on it. I highly recommend it for any child.

Box was missing the net, pump, and needle for inflating the ball. Disappointing. The back board hoop and ball look sturdy and of good quality.
