I'd previously been using a soft bouncy pillow which had no support, though comfortable. It came up brilliantly no issues at all.I'll defo buy this again just so my pillows both match on my bed!

It's very early days but used for 4 nights so far and according to my Wife my snoring has ceased or significantly decreased. Diagnosed with mild sleep apnea, but my snoring is hugely disrupting my Wife's sleep. I've tried several products for my nose, mouth guard for tongue, even a foam device on my back to keep me on my side, however I now snore in that position also. Very comfortable pillow, and I have additionally found my neck and upper back to be less stiff, which is a bonus. Obviously everyone is different, however my experience so far, albeit only a few days has been very positive. Only 4 stars as it has been short use so far, if it continues to help then it would be 5!

I purchased 2 of these on prime day at a discounted rate, 1 of which was through the try before you buy scheme. I loved mine but my wife thought it was too firm. If you’re in two minds about getting one, I’d definitely recommend the try before you buy scheme, that way you can send it back if you’re one of those people like my wife who this isn’t suited for. I like this specifically because it supports my head and neck better while I sleep, mainly as I sleep solely on my back. It’s the size of a normal pillow so despite having its own case, I put it in a normal pillowcase anyway to keep it clean and protected, plus it doesn’t stick out from the rest of the bedding that way. It is on the firm side but that is what I like and is shaped in a way that you can have the height taller or shorter by simply rotating it 180 degrees. The last plus side is that this stays cool in the summer as well which only aides sleep further.

I couldn't get a good sense browsing the internet of what kind of pillow is really best for combination back/side sleepers. My conclusion after trying 5 different pillows is that the 'butterfly' shape is great, but the foam in every butterfly-esque product I tried was terrible (always extremely hard and un-mouldable). On the other hand, the foam in this product is lovely and soft - you will sink in and feel it mould around you - but the shape can't accommodate switching between the positions well. My solution was to hack it into something approximating the butterfly shape! It actually wasn't too nerve-wracking, snipping gradually away with scissors, but obviously do it at your own peril. I think my return window has closed on this one...Without modifications, the pillow was just 'ok' out of the box. The low end works fine for exclusively back-sleeping. I used the high end for rolling about from side to back. The high end is a good height for shoulders, but I feel it curves the wrong way and prevents your head getting far enough into the pillow - the softness of the memory foam is less luxuriant when it's mashing itself around your jawline - hence the decision to slice that part away. The high end felt too high for the neck while lying on my back. Still, I slept on this end, unmodified, reasonably well for a couple of weeks before deciding to butcher it.I would love it if Sweetnight could make their own official butterfly pillow out of the same foam as this one!
