Superb
Superb product. Easy to use, very slight OK odor, dries fast, mixes with water, sands beautifully. Use it to sculpt areas on furniture missing areas and carving; make a skim coat to create a perfectly smooth surface; use it to fill in rough grain. I wish I'd found this years ago. This wood filler leaves the rest in the dust. And it doesn't dry out - but JIC I keep bottle in zip lock bag. It may seem expensive, but compared to plastic wood type fillers, it is not. Better results, ease of use and no stink - it's a winner.

High quality prduct
I have really liked these wood fillers made by Timbermate. They just seems to give a really nice smooth finish after they are dried and sanded down. It is a great filler for small holes and imperfections in wood. Finishes up nice too with a top coat.

Best filler I've used
After seeing various woodworkers praise this on YouTube, I got it to try. It's excellent, but I warn you, it stinks big time. It dries quickly, hard as a rock and is easy to sand and it takes stain and paint well. I originally applied it with a putty knife. I saw John Heisz from I Build It use a box cutter for smaller areas and that works better for me than a putty knife. Any leftovers you can add back to the container and use it later. There are a variety of colors for the various woods. I tossed out my other wood filler/wood putty.

Best Wood Filler Product Available, Period!
Save yourself hours of research and trial and error, this product is the "Best" you can buy and works flawlessly! It is super easy to apply and cleans up just as easy. More importantly, once applied it last and look great, period. The other important aspect about this product, is it does not dries up in it's easily resealable container like most other products. I've had it over a year and when opened, it was fresh just like when it arrived new.

This is a great product. It does not shrink
This is a great product. It does not shrink. You can re-constitute it with water. Dries quickly. Sands easily. However, I was under the impression that you could stain it, if you bought the corresponding color. I was mistaken. I read one comment that said the "white" could not be stained. So, at a minimum, I'm confused. I was able to darken it somewhat. But it did not receive the stain like natural wood. I made a "batter" with it to use as a grain filler on a casket. As a grain filler, it worked great! But it made the staining very blotchy. I had to deep sand the whole project and give up on staining it altogether. Lesson learned. I would advise anyone to do more research. I would give it 5 stars, except for the above issue.

Amazon did a bad job packaging, sent padded envelope, should have been in a box, arrived broken. :(
The Timber Mate products are great, have used their wood fillers for years. WAY better than the alternatives. Easy to apply, dry's quick and sands smooth easily. Water based, so easy clean up and if the filler starts to stiffen in the container, just a few drops of water bring it back to life. Great stuff.

Great Product
Can't go wrong with Timbermate. Stays put, does not shrink, and takes a finish. Great for hiding flaws and brad holes.

Best Available for Raw Pine Trim!
If you are looking for a high-quality wood filler for covering nail holes in newly installed raw pine trim - this is your product! By far the best wood filler I have ever used; nearly invisible when applied.
