Looking forward to another 4 years of use of the new Flylink unit. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to fit, lasts much longer than original. *by S***Y on 10 March 2020* Bought one of these for my cordless DC59 as it was only running for 3 or 4 mins before battery dying.Having stripped and cleaned all ports and rollers etc to rule out a blockage, I decided to change the battery.. (They do after all have a lifespan, just like everything else)There are only two screws to remove the original battery, one in the handle, and the second accessible once you unclip the dirt box.Both screws are small phillips screws, so no special torx required, unlike the rest of the Dyson.Change over took only a few minutes.There was charge in the battery already, but I put the Dyson on its cradle anyway, just to make sure it was fully topped up.The result was amazing, I can now clean the whole house again on a single charge, just like I used to.. But now I can do the tough bits on turbo also.Recently bought a second battery to replace the one in my stepdads Dyson.Fits like the original. Would highly reccomend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Seems a fully competent replacement to recommend *by Z***N on 25 March 2021* It arrived very promptly, fitted exactly, installed easily, working perfectly and recharged correctly without any issues.The only thing that I cannot realistically give a certifiable reference to is to the ultimate durability of the battery as the replacement was only fitted three weeks ago. It is not used extensively daily but the early signs so far are promising.This type of battery technology does not like two minutes use and constant recharge. Better to let it discharge to a much greater level, then recharge. This helps to avoid the battery getting a memory of the charge level.
