Works great. I use it for woodcarving and it does the job. Great value for the money. Half the cost of a foredom power carver. Although I love the foredom this carver is great for someone on a budget.

I think, it's totally worth the money. I've bought a couple of Ryobi's rotary tools that I like a whole lot, but this one, is quieter, easy to manage, and is more powerful across the board. The foot pedal is fine. Ive read some reviews complaining about some issues witht the foot pedal. It's not the best quality, but it works just fine for my needs, and for the money, I surely wouldn't complain about it. My Ryobi tool isn't even a year old and ive had to warranty exchange it cause it's not up to the test I guess. I'd say if you're worried about brand names and spending more money. Just remember things break why pay 2x the price for something that has the same chances of failing as the one that isn't that much of a pocket hit.

Giving it 4 stars is a little generous however the product functions great and for the motor and tool have had no issues. You can't run it at full speed, With heavy load because the motor can burn out... And sharper bends with the flex shaft will stress out the components and they can snap fairly easily if the bend is too extreme. Mine has held up fairly well keeping those points in mind however the foot pedal did not last 2 weeks. Since it's the 2nd one I have purchased i used the old footpedal..

You need a powerful rotary tool? This is it. Powerful and versatile. You think your project is too much for a rotary tool? Fugget about it. I am using it to carve stone. The big cuts are easy enough with an angle grinder and a diamond blade, but I needed a rotary tool that could handle the intricate cuts to fit the stone together without gaps. I had recently purchased different (yellow) rotary tool on Amazon.com for a different project, but the bit got stuck in the tool after using it for an hour. I thought a green rotary tool from Home Depot would be better. That didn't work either. I am all about value, and the Dremel brand tool is way too expensive and too dainty for the kind of projects I do. I found this bad boy and thought the power was right. I thought the price was right. And, I needed it "tomorrow." It has not disappointed. The tool has a real chuck, and accomodates up to a 1/4" bit. I did not think I would like the foot pedal. It seems flimsy. Still, it not only does the job, but it is easy to use, even on an uneven rocky surface. The power is great. I have not issues with the cord length...umm that's why they make extension cords. The working end of the tool is easy to handle. Honestly, what I am asking this tool to do, if it can do the entire project without blowing up, then it has earned a place on every man's work bench.

The foot pedal works perfectly and you can be quite aggressive or very very gentle in the pic is a ornament I'm making of the nightmare before Christmas. It is able to drill out and sand down all of it very cleanly. Also the motor doesn't really over heat either so I was able to slow grind it down for over an hour no issues 😉

I really like that it did the carving super easy, about 6 hours of work since it was my first stone carving. The biggest dislike i have for this..no mount comes with it, and maybe they could make a good mount that comes with it, or even make it useable Horizontally. most of the reviews i read about he shaft breaks ARE FOR TWO REASONS...bending the shaft at 90 degrees is BAD! thats why you hang it up so when its on the work surface th is flexing no more than 60 to 70 degrees. and also do not pull on it, the shaft will come out of the handle, as its made that way to replace shaft, but while its spining is bad, if u pull it and it comes out, then pops back in, while in motion, will potentially cause a shaft break..but i knew this before using it..and have had not one issue..IT IS AMAZING TOOL...

Lo que me gustó es que las brocas no hacen juego (no vibra), lo que hace que sea un trabajo más fino. Lo que noto desfavorable es que en uso continuo en mango se calienta. En general me gustó el producto y cumple con lo esperado.

Muy contentos, funciona perfecto, a buen precio, súper adecuado, lo recomendamos.

En terminos generales buen producto, fragil el plastico del pedal.
