The Complete Tales of Winnie-The-Pooh Review: Satisfied customer. Beautiful storybook - After reading the reviews about damaged books I was skeptical to purchase but I guess I was lucky to have the book in one piece without blemishes on the cover, although the edge of the book has a faint black discoloration which I suppose is a tiny bit of smudged ink but all pages were printed well and in numerical order. A lovely storybook to be handed down for generations to come. It was great for gifting. I also loved that it came with a lovely little blue ribbon inside as the book mark. Review: Beautiful edition! - Top notch collection and beautiful edition! Definitely worth buying.

Whimsical and Magical
It’s the Classic Complete Tales of Winnie the Pooh by A. A. Milne with the original decorations/illustrations by Ernest H. Shepard. Winnie the Pooh was released in 1926. The book is 344 pages plus a 2 page map of the 100 AKER WOOD! You are never too old to relive this masterpiece of love and warmth. Beautifully done and gives simple outlooks to the view within the 100 AKER WOOD where the characters lived.

Winnie the Pooh The Complete Tales is a great read. The book is loaded with a lot ...
Winnie the Pooh The Complete Tales is a great read. The book is loaded with a lot of color illustrations. Like other children’s books with wonderful artwork, such as Beatrix Potter The Complete Tales, Dinotopia, Watership Down, and The Wind In The Willows, the color illustrations really enhance the storytelling. I’ve been rereading some of my favorite children’s stories that I read during my preteen and teen years. As a middle-aged guy I enjoyed revisiting Beatrix Potter The Complete Tales, Charlotte’s Web, Winnie the Pooh The Complete Tales, Treasure Island, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, The Wonderful Wizard Of Oz, Watership Down and The Wind in the Willows as much, maybe even more, than I did as a kid. All classics. I’d shelve Dinotopia and the first Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, with this group of classic children’s stories too. Normally I’m a sampler. I haven’t seen any of the movies from the following series, but I did read the first books, Twilight, Outlander, Fifty Shades of Grey, Divergent, etc. I sample a lot of first books, but I don’t read many complete series. The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins, and The Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones) series by George Martin are a couple of exceptions. Other sci-fi and fantasy authors I like include Douglas Adams, Isaac Asimov, Paolo Bacigalupi, Jack Campbell, Arthur C. Clarke, Earnest Cline, Abe Evergreen, Robert A. Heinlein, Hugh Howey, Larry Niven, Patrick Rothfuss, Brandon Sanderson, John Scalzi, and Andy Weir.

This is a beautiful book with thick pages and small colour illustrations on every page and a few pages with full page colour illustrations...the binding is also good...as for the story...it is a classic in complete and unabridged form But keep in mind that this edition has the first two books-winnie the pooh and house at pooh corner...it does not contain the poems of the other two books in the series

If you have never read this go out and buy it. A classic tale for kids and if as an adult you don't find yourself laughing out loud at A A Milne's sharp but understated prose, you need to read more! My kids are now 19-12 and the book is still a firm favourite and oft quoted!

I can’t have been much older than 12 when I received my introduction to A.A. Milne. So this book evokes memories galore — mostly delightful ones.
