Durable & Well-Made, Enamel Surface is Non-Stick, Cooks Evenly
I have two Tramontina cookware pieces and both are fantastic--I would highly recommend Tramontine Enamel cookware pieces without any reservations. The enamel surface is high quality and is truly a non-stick surface. I have been able to greatly reduce the use of oil when using this piece of cookware. The enamel also cleans-up well and requires little scrubbing. According to the care instructions, it can be washed in the dishwasher. I have tried this a few times to see if this claim was correct and it cleaned-up well; however, for the sake of the longevity I will normally be washing it by hand. Even after washing it in the dishwasher, the enamel surface remained non-stick.The packaging and marketing material is honestly written, as the piece is both designed and made in Italy.High quality alloys appear to have been used, and the rivets connecting the two handles to the body of the piece are very securely fashioned and well made. (If I had to wager, I doubt the handles will be coming loose.)One word of caution about caring for this piece... On the lid, in between the gasket and the rim of the lid it is possible for water to get behind the gasket. If you let the lit soak underwater or if you wash the lid in the dishwasher, be prepared to allow the lid to sit out to air-dry as so give ample time for the small amount of trapped water to evaporate.

An excellent European-made saucepan
A nice little non-stick pot, ideal for small batches of sauces, soups, and oatmeal. This is my third Tramontina saucepan, and I’m impressed with their quality, especially considering the very reasonable price. While most cookware in this price range come out of the PRC- even name brands like Cuisinart- Tramontina pans come from Brazil and Italy, and that was a significant factor in my purchase. One minor complaint: I would have liked to see a vent in the lid.

nice pans
These pans work really well, overall. It is important that you follow the care and cooking directions. I first bought an 8" and 12" pan several years ago. The 8" pan is still in excellent condition. It does not get as much use. I generally just use it to fry an egg or grilled cheese sandwich. It is a perfect size for these tasks. I am on my 3rd 12" pan. The first one lasted about 3 years with heavy use, then it started staining and sticking. My second one lasted about a year, and I am sure I could have gotten another 2 years out of it, but one of my family members used it and cooked on high. The pan got stained and started sticking. So now I recently purchased my 3rd one. Although these do not last a lifetime, they are a decent value to get a few years of use out of. I am not a professional chef, but from what I can tell, these heat pretty evenly and do a good job cooking. Just remember to take care of them! And, don't cook on high!

Great performing cookware
I've had the cookware about a week now, and I couldn't be happier. To start with, it is a really great looking set of cookware. Very sexy.I followed the instructions to the letter for seasoning the pans, and cannot emphasize how impressed I am with the performance of the cookware.I've reduced my cooking temperatures by a third easily on the stovetop; I have an electric stove and so far have not moved the burners further than one notch past medium, and the pans perform fantastically. Great sear, and less mess on the stove. The cleanup is a breeze too, as I haven't had ANYTHING stick to the surface yet at all. You can literally wipe these down with a paper towel and they are clean as a whistle.Overall, for the value I can't think of how I could have been more impressed with this set of cookware. You do need to protect the finish when you're putting them away in the cupboard, but that's easy to take care of.I would buy this again in a second.

I would be very wary cooking food in this...
It's a lovely pot, i liked it a lot when it first arrived but unfortunately the enamel just completely dissolved the first time i used it (exposing the aluminum core inside). I was using it to make soap so that should be noted, that probably wasn't the manufacture's first intended use. But it was a youtuber online who is in the business of making homemade soaps that uses and recommends enamel coated pots for this very thing. And for the price of 50 dollars i really did not expect it to fall apart like this. The caustic pot ash was well diluted. Considering it took only 2 or 3 minutes for this enamel to liquify and come off - mixing in with the soap - i would feel very wary using this pot to cook any kind of food. Particularly acidic things also like tomatos or tomato sauce. With the aluminum exposed the pot is now useless to me. I just wanted a simple pot to use for this purpose. I followed the care instructions, i seasoned it, and one silicone spatula was all that ever touched it. I would return this if i could but i am sure because i used it for an all natural non-food item that voids the warranty..Another thing to consider, because of the aluminum core the pot gets very hot and even touching the top rim is likely to burn you. So be careful not to touch or bump against it even on low heat. The stainless steel handles being the one exception. It's a shame because i really do like the look of it. The handles are sturdy and comfortable to grip. And the toxic-free coating at least in principle is a nice idea.Overall we are pretty disappointed.
