Catfish Fillet Blue

Super delicious! Delivered a large amount, but froze half and it was delicious both times. Fresh and tasty

This is the absolute best catfish I've ever had. It's wild caught so it's not ridiculously fatty. It has a flaky flesh as it should. I hope ppl in my area don't get too hip to this bcuz I hate when it's out of stock 😢

I was worried when I received the fish upon delivery because of a string fishy smell- shrimpy, if you will, but before I called to report it - I thought perhaps a leak from elsewhere caused the smell because it was shrink wrapped- there was a 50/50 chance I was right and when I opened it the fish was just fine- I did have to cook it right then because it was not in the foil lined paper bag for some reason- I pan seared the seasoned fish in my cast iron skillet and it tasted like fresh catfish with only a one tiny bone- same price as Walmart! Fantastic buy- rated 4 stars because of the smell on packaging and improperly bagged.

I thought I was going to have to go back down to Mississippi just to get this fish but Lord behold they had it at whole food and I'm telling you it is delicious

I wouldn't lie and tell you these are bad just to keep them all for me. It's not like I'm some Okie transplant up here in the Northeast where it's hard to find good catfish or anything. Or that catfish was my mom's favorite food and she made sure that her kids learned to appreciate it in spite of having to move all around the country. Or that as far as I am concerned, catfish is better than lobster. Or that this particular catfish arrived in perfect condition, with large fillets that were firm and not smelly. Or that it cooked up white and flakey and not one bit mealy. Nope. Can't be that.

Horrible smell, which stunk up my whole refrigerator so bad I finally had to take it out of the original packaging. Try to rent it off and reduce some of the smell. Mistakenly I made went through the trouble of cooking it and it still smelled awful. I’m quite catfish should have before and after cooking and I was smart enough not to eat it.

Love cat fish and was happy I don't have to order from a restaurant every time I want some. Thanks.
