Herbs for Hepatitis C and the Liver (A Storey Medicinal Herb Guide)

I don't know anyone that has hep c, I just collect books on permaculture, herbs, herbal medicinals, pioneers.........I have boatloads. Since we all know how important the liver is, I figure it's best to keep it healthy and thriving, now wait for it to get sick.

Every one of Mr. Buhner's book I have read are fantastic. I am in the health care field and he gives very practical protocols the average person can incorporate into their lives. There are many health problems that allopathic medicine does not have all the answers to. His books offer hope. He uses diet, vitamins, minerals, and herbs in this book.

Great book. Explain each herb, how can help you and where you can obtain it. I have being using several of this herbs know and works well for me so far. I really hope that you get the same results. Read also: Triumph...

Pretty well written, talks alot about the different Herbs but not alot about where to buy the herbs. Gives into on what vitamens are good to take which to stay away from. Some recipes. Easy to read I could pick and choose subjects that were interesting to me and ignore others. Small book with good information.

I bought this book for a family member that is suffering from HepC. My only regret is that I didn’t get it sooner. My relative found the book to be very helpful and informative.

My friend's brother dropped his viral load to not detectable following this protocol. My doctor said there was nothing in the protocol that would hurt me, and if it helps - great. Buy this book. He is the herbal expert in this disease.

If you have Hep C as do I, this is a MUST have book. Very well written in a way that makes it seem it was written just for you. PACKED with vital info. I only wish I would have gotten this book sooner.

A very informative book, but following the protocols had no influence on viral loads. Now that there are approved pharmaceuticals out there, I'm hoping to have a sustained viral response by August. My load was reduced from 5.5 million to 120 to 20 after 8 weeks of an off label treatment. Buehner seems knowledgeable, but he's the only one I have found who recommends a type of skullcap (baical) for use with HepC patients. Every other source, including top liver docs have warned to stay away from skullcap in general. However, am not sure what's up with that, or how baical may differ from the other kind. I ordered some but am not taking it.
