Very durable, illumination is great

Excellent product. Use it to illuminate a closet for my guitar. Great brightness.

I didn't make any modifications (i.e. cuts, solders, etc.) as it came with the jack connector already attached. I just plugged it in to a universal iGO power adapter. The light strip was nice and bright, but after only being plugged in for less than a minute, the area where the connector was plugged in was hot to the touch. I thought perhaps it was the iGO, but I received an "LED Driver 60W 12V DC Low Voltage Output, Waterproof IP67 LED Power Supply,LED Transformer" shortly thereafter and plugged it in for about 5 minutes. I used a digital meat thermometer and the outside of the cord was 131.9 degrees Fahrenheit. (From a quick Internet search, that is too hot.) I tried to request help online, but it wasn't available for this product. Bummer as I had purchased adapters, connectors, power supply, and the backing to make a sign. Is this just a bum one and they normally don't get so hot? I did manage to talk to someone on Amazon chat and they said it wouldn't be safe at those temperatures. I tried their suggestion of plugging it in to a different outlet and it still got over 121 deg. F. I am returning it and will try a different brand. I had wanted so badly for it to work, as I had planned on ordering a couple more colors.

The color looks amazing once turned in. It comes with hooks to hang the lights but they are screws so you will need a hammer for the installation. But it’s easy to use and very functional. I will def recommend this to someone

Pros:These LEDs are decently bright and have good diffusion within the strip. They are very flexible and make most corners without cutting.Cons:While they are bright, they're obviously not bright enough to light an entire room as the photos suggest. I bought 2 of these strips in cool white and while they both are white, they are not the same white. The second strip is slightly more yellow. A few words of caution if you're cutting these... The strips I purchased had different polarity. If you wire them and they don't light between strips flip your leads. Also, I would HIGHLY recommend cutting past the cut line and utilizing the entire copper pad. These are incredibly delicate and tear out easily if cut in half.As mentioned in the description 12V, no adhesive on the back (use gorilla glue), and buy an adapter separate if needed. Good luck!

Very cute color and very functional but died out pretty quickly.

The media could not be loaded. It only took me one case to make the pink “paisley” sign. Before i was buying strips double this price, but now I'm considering buying these going forward. The only con for me is that there is no power adapter, you have to buy it separately. (which they state in the description). Otherwise I am super pleased with my purchase!Update: I’ve been using these lights for a year now, it became my quarantine hobby. In the “oh baby” sign I used the “white” color lights. I thought I could color match these white lights with white lights from another vendor but you can clearly see a difference. The circle Is the light I used from another vendor and “oh baby” is the white light from this company. Here is what I want to add to my review:1. A plus is that you can solder lights from different vendors to these lights2. They recently added an extension that connects to a power adapter. I may be helpful to some. I honestly could have done without it.3. Colors I have found to not be true to the promotional pictures are yellow & red. Yellow & Red have a orange tint in certain lighting.I’m still pleased, and will continue to buy these lights.
