Curatolo AriniFine Non Vintage Marsala Wine, 75 cl

Bought solely for making Rick Stein's chicken in Marsala wine. Extravagant buy for a what is a cooking wine as I wouldn't drink this. The dish however when made is delicious. Had tried with the sweet version and it just doesn't work, has to be the dry. Just wonder whether could substitute with dry sherry at half the price and will have to experiment.

Upon opening my package, I was immediately struck by the exquisite packaging and the meticulous care taken to handle it. The attention to detail was truly impressive. As someone who is not particularly fond of wine, I had low expectations when we opened the bottle. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the rich aroma reminiscent of brandy. The scent was so inviting that I couldn't wait to take a sip. The taste was nothing short of divine - it was simply amazing. The wine elevated the flavour of my tiramisu to an entirely new level, enhancing every single note and bringing the dessert to life. The combination of the wine and the dessert was a match made in heaven. It was truly a culinary experience to savour, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys the finer things in life.

Am yet to try this neat, but it worked marvellously in our tirimisu.

I use this in cooking authentic Italian dishes like Scalloppine al marsala for my friendsand...It's great as a shot on it's own !

Lovely bottle of wine highly reccomend

If you love veal or chicken Marsala this Marsala dry wine has the best flavour I have ever had.
