Absolutely adorable! The sounds are spot-on, and the plush is super soft and well-made. My students (and I!) can’t get enough of it. A perfect gift for any Star Wars fan!

The child is a perfect addition to my daughters collection. His sounds are just adorable and I love that this one has feet. He has a soft body that makes it easier for your kiddo to carry around.

Though like probably many others I am not a Star Wars collector, I knew myself well enough to know I would eventually cave and get one of these, all the while knowing I am fully conscious of the giant engines of consumer culture that fuel this media conglomerate. Well, somebody in some other galaxy far, far away said, "Resistance is futile." So I thought about it, read You Tube reviews of various versions and ended up choosing this little guy. The price is reasonable, I don't need animatronics, he does babble a little, and he's a good size to fit in among my vinyl friends from way back in the 60's, the Dam troll dolls (plus his ears are even bigger than theirs!) He has painted, not inset eyes, which are not a flat black but distinguish the pupil from the dark iris around it. Then they show a tiny bit of white at the very edges. So I find it a very expressive eye. Some people did not like his little "Yoda head" hairs being painted on, but I kind of like that they are there. NIce pink shading in the inner ears too. I like that he has feet too, but he doesn't always stand up well on them. I am hoping I can run across some one on You Tube showing how they customized wire armatures for his legs. So except for that one point there, I am a totally happy Child/Baby Yoda fan.

This toy is exactly as described..its super cute and makes the cutest sounds ! He seems to be pretty well made , but I won't know for sure until my kids start playing with it. I did discover there is no way to change the battery's without taking him apart, apparently you have to remove his head and find the battery pouch instead his body. ( there is a video on you tube that shows how to do it. ) other than that flaw it not a bad toy , I'm sure My Daughter's are going to love him anyway and he will make them laugh... so it's worth it for that . Anyway I'm pretty happy with him and I think he would make a Great gift for any child or adult.

The first one I ordered had defects. There was a white paint drip in the corner of one eye, too much beige highlighting in the ears and along the face, and the green color they used leaned more toward a yellowish lime green instead of the more blue hued green from The Mandalorian. Maybe it was a due to the improper paint job but the face shape even looked a bit out of proportion. Looking at him he just felt off and the defects took away from the overall realism of recreating the Baby Yoda/Grogu we love from the show. The second one I received is almost perfect. No defects I can detect and the skin color is much closer to what we see on the show. This one looks like he could stand up and start following me around making cute little noises. Glad I asked for a replacement instead of just returning it. If you want a Grogu that looks more like the real one this version is much better than the first version that came out right after the show. That version is the one you often see sold in retail stores I bought this one because the paint job creates a much more 3D effect that is way more realistic than the first version that is painted all one solid color. I also liked that this version has feet instead of a weighted bean bag bottom. I was also pleased to see that this version has full PVC arms instead of just PVC hands attached to a stuffed arm. I do wish that this version had the real burlap and sherpa coat like the first version did. This version has a faux sherpa collar and a smooth tan polyester coat. It's not bad but the coat on the first version is better and more in line with the show. Some people seem upset that they chose to use painted eyes for this version instead of the all glass eyes used on the first version. I think the painted eyes were a good choice because it allows the eyes to look more like Grogu's eyes on the show. The glass eyes on the first version are two tone, a medium brown with a darker brown center and outer edge. Grogu's eyes have a a little white on the outer and inner edges. That was not captured in the glass eyes version so the eyes just look a little off and give off a basic alien vibe when there is no white shown. I am very happy with this second one I received. If the coat was really sherpa and burlap like other versions, the sound effects actually taken from the show and if the nails on Grogu's hands and feet were painted brown like on the show this version would be near perfect. As it is, this is still a very good version and probably the closet plush doll replica I have seen from any movie or show. They really did an outstanding job.

This Grogu/baby yoda plush has been a huge hit in our house. It’s well made, and the character sounds are actually really cute without being too loud or annoying. The accessories are a nice touch and make it more interactive for kids. My daughter loves it and carries it around constantly. It’s the perfect size and feels durable enough to handle everyday play, the sounds activate easily and add some charm without overdoing it/being annoying. We’ve had it for a few months now and everything still works perfectly. Great gift for any Mandalorian or Grogu fan. I love him! He's painted beautifully, he sounds perfect, he's got a little bowl of bone broth, what more could you ask for at such a good price?
