I picked up the HILTI CF-DS1 foam dispenser because I needed a high-quality tool to handle single-component polyurethane foam for sealing and insulation work and it hasn’t disappointed. I only regret that I have not bought this gun a long time ago. I installed ten replacement windows with just one can of foam. Then I started to fill all kinds of gaps and small holes in lot of different situations on a project where I'm working. I literally was looking for ways to use the rest of the can of window foam so I could replace it for a can of fireblocking foam and it wouldn't simply keeping coming out. This is is worth using expansion foam. You will make your $100 bucks back pretty easily, specially if you use foam often.

I really like this gun. It gives you great control over your foam, and let's face it, it's stylish. If you keep a can attached, it is should last a long time. I killed my first one by leaving it unused to long. I wasn't able to get the cleaner to flow through and destroyed it trying to disassemble it. After it was too late, I realized, all it needed was me to press on the little ball valve where the can attaches to break it loose. The rest of the gun was spotless inside. Que sera.

this is a great buy for anyone who needs a good foam gun im a remodeler and i use this all the time i didnt use it for a couple of months without taking off the foam can and when i took it out itwirked perfectly also it has great control nothing bad to say about this tool

Save your money. Unless you are a professional and use it everyday. I used it once. Cleaned it very well with foam cleaner. Sprayed a lot of forma cleaner through the gun and after a month, it’s clogged. I took it apart and apparently the needle is stuck

If you do any amount of spray-foaming, set your time machine for 10 years ago and go back in time to buy this thing. It's that useful. You never have to clean it unless you don't plan on using it for a while. You just keep swapping out 24 ounce cans of foam until done. Just don't blame me if they didn't make it a decade ago!
