Disney's Planes - Nintendo Wii U

I bought this game for my five year old son as a gift for Easter. He is a HUGE fan of both Disney movies, PLANES and PLANES FIRE & RESCUE. He loves this game almost as much as he does the movie. He already had the Planes Fire & Rescue Wii U game, but he says he likes this one much, much better. There is a bit of a learning curve, but if you have a child who is as dedicate to his gaming as mine is, he/she will playing this game like a pro in no time. LOL There are a number of different methods of play included in this game. They are; Flight School, in this mode there are two levels, Basic Flight and Advanced Flight; Story Mode, where you can play as your favorite character from the movie, Free Flight, Air Rallies, and Balloon Pop. I didn't see where there is any recommended age range for this game, but as I said, my five year old loves it and doesn't have any difficulties playing it.

Great game! Teaches children fine touch coordination with a lot of nice scenery. I bought it for my 5 year old who loves it but I think I'm addicted too. There is a lot of similarity with flight simulator games.

Very basic and easy game that takes advantage of the Disney license. Definitely targeted at and best for young gamers or those who dislike a challenge. There is a 2nd Planes game available as well called Search and Rescue which is similar but not as good.

My kids (5 & 3) love playing this game. They can't fly very well, but with practice they will get better. The instructions are spoken to them so they don't have to worry about reading.

For a child game it is not very clear in a certain section what's to do next. After getting all the things it asked to get nothing happens to lead us to the next level. Just keep flying around for nothing. No helpful hints

Fun to play with little kids, but the graphics and gameplay leave much to be desired.

My 4.5 year old son loves this game. After the first 20 minutes of "training mode" he has mastered the skills. there is no crashing of planes, there is just wholesome fun.
