Test Success: Test-Taking Techniques for Beginning Nursing Students

I've been accustomed to taking tests that are pretty straight forward with questions an answers. However, nursing exams aren't always like that and require critical thinking. This book has helped me look at test questions in a different light through multiple examples and techniques. I feel like I am more comfortable answering questions even if I'm not exactly sure of the answer. The book also goes through dissection of questions to help you determine exactly what is being asked. As I progress through my nursing classes, I will definitely keep some of the tips and tricks in mind!

I have not taken an Exam in quite some time so I find the Strategies and information presented in the text to be quite helpful now and will be in the future. I would recommend this book to anyone trying to develop test taking strategies.

This book is great for beginning nursing students! I just finished the fundamentals of nursing course at my local community college. This book it on the recommended list. Our school makes are exam questions very similar to the NCLEX. The way questions are worded on the tests confuse me. This book made me score 2 letter grades higher on my exams. I was a C student. Now I am making As on the exams. I definitely recommend this if you are having problem with NCLEX questions.

Thank you so much for fast shipping, i highly recommend this book if you're in your first semester in nursing. I regret that I didn't buy this book when my class started. Although I did well in my first semester with the help of Fundametals Success, but I should have used this book first then supplement it with fundamentals. this book will teach you how to answer nursing question. A lot of great tips that will help you in your exam.

Although this was a required text for my nursing orientation, it quickly became a personal required read. It succinctly defined the scope and depth of nursing and it clearly defined the skills that are needed and how they are evaluated. Many of the lessons that were taught here were also applicable to education and life in general. I was surprised and delighted; I felt like I had climbed the mountain to acquire cosmic truths from the Great Master.

I thought the book was useful but didnt use it as much as I thought I would.

I recommend every student that are about to enter the nursing program, to get this book and read before you start. Is going to help you a lot, your nursing program is not your regular studying is totally different, I learned it the hard way. It prepares you from the beginning to the end. It has awesome tips!!
