Great product! Great results!
First things first, very good price for a very good product! Its really great! It definitely helps push me through my workouts. I tend to go to the gym frequently, I would not say I am a body builder, but I have years of exercise and experience with supplements. This is a little gem I recently discovered and I couldn't be happier. I can really tell a difference when I am nearing the end of a set when I usually gas out. The Beta Alanine really helps you push through and endure to the end! It can be used for all types of exercise(aerobic and anaerobic). It will cause your face and extremities to become tingly. I would suggest starting with a half serving if you have never felt this tinge because it may be scary to some, but it is a harmless side effect. My only complaint is I feel as if it doesn't mix very well. You can almost never get it to blend in completely, there seems to always be particles floating around. It is not a big deal, but it would be nice if it blended better. It is truly tasteless, I mix mine with gatorade or my protein shake. It can be mixed with another drink without affecting the test. Very good product, I'd buy it again, and recommend it to anyone looking to push their workout to the next level!

Great Price, Great Product, But Where's The Scoop?
I purchased this beta alanine powder to save on the ridiculous amount of money that I was spending on pre-workouts. I have recently completed a lot more research on training and nutrition for muscle hypertrophy work (building muscle mass) and I am now convinced that beta-alanine, creatine, and protein powder are the only three supplements that should be seriously considered for maximizing bodybuilding results while saving money. The rest of the products on the market are totally optional and won't do you any good if you're not focusing on your training and nutrition first. The same could actually be said for beta alanine, creatine, and protein powder, but at least there is scientific evidence for these three supplements that actually proves their effectiveness. I have a 3.2g measuring scoop left over from one of my old pre-workouts that I use to measure out a scoop of this per day. I still drink a post-workout shake because of how delicious it is, so I'll usually just put my creatine monohydrate and beta alanine in that same shake, get my daily dose of all three, and call it a day. I've never been stronger or more vascular in my entire life - and this is without the other ridiculously-priced supplements on the market. I've been taking beta alanine for a while (whether separately or included in a pre/post-workout), so it's hard to judge the "results" that I am getting from this product. Instead, I trust the scientific evidence behind its effectiveness and, at such a much more affordable price than I was paying for my monthly pre and post-workouts, I think this is a wise investment. It should easily last me upwards of four-five months. The only reason why this review has 4 stars instead of 5 is because this product does not come with a measuring scoop and the way the bottle is shaped makes it difficult to actually scoop out the beta alanine easily without getting your fingers covered in it. I believe a wider-mouth top and an included measuring scoop would warrant an easy 5-star review.

Effective yet cheap product
Background: Real quick before the review. I am an avid gym goer. I use a lot of supplements that either increase my workout or recovery. I train for mass. Ingredient: 100% carnosine beta alanine. Beta alanine is a non essential amino acid that is produced naturally in the liver. There is a difference between carnosyn and beta alanine. Carnosyn is a patented beta alanine that stays in the bloodstream longer than regular beta alanine. Overtime with constant supplementation, beta alanine reduces fatigue and reduces lactic acid in the body. Dosing: I supplement this pre workout, 3-5 grams, depending if I take a stimulant pre workout or just want the tingles. Value: Can't beat the price. Does what it is supposed to do. Cost me a few bucks more than creatine. Effectiveness: I have been using this for awhile now. Great product. Still feel the tingles but not like when I first supplemented with this. My fatigue has significantly gone down and I can train longer in the gym and push for those extra rep or two. Tip: Beta alanine sometimes clumps up. This is normal so from time to time you will have to de-clump it. If your product arrives with clumps, this is normal. Side effects: I have not experienced any side effects. But for some people they don't like feeling the tingles. If you don't like feeling the tingles, then I would not recommend this product for you. I recommend to supplement this for anyone who is looking to improve their workout or has an under dosed pre workout. You will not be disappointed.

Best Beta-Alanine
This is the best I've used. It's a major part of my pre-workout mix. Never disappoints. I am never sore when using this. Helps me get through my workouts. Easily dissolves and is odorless and tasteless. It's a must have IMHO. I went without it for 6 weeks and I regret it. It definitely enhances my endurance and stamina during my workouts.

Excellent for only the experienced.
If you are looking for strength and stamina look no further. Most combo products that you buy these days (Assault, Recon, and the like all have THIS product in it). This isn't some hooka hooka bush extract that many companies will throw on labels to baffle the consumer; with hope to confuse them into believing that their mysterious concoction works. What works? Creatine, Beta-Alanine, BCAA's and caffeine (that's it guys). If you are paying for anything else, your getting ripped off. You stack Beta Alanine with creatine with the recommended amounts, you will become monkey strong! I cycle this stack and I can tell you that it is far from placebo effect. Much research has been done to support beta alanine claims as well. The problem with taking a proprietary blends is that you might only take them on days that you work out and only maybe twice, before and after a workout. This is no bueno with beta alanine! You need to take this stuff several times a day, every day. It is not like creatine where 5 grams a day is just fine. Nope, you have to take this 4 -6 times a day. At first you will get these prickly sensations on your face/ arms/ neck, etc. Weird, but a normal side effect of Beta Alanine initially. To circumvent this, take 1/2 the recommended dose on the bottle, but double your frequency on taking the supplement. Your body will get use to it, and or you will just ignore the sensation. I am kinda strange, but I kinda like the feeling. It usually take about 3-4 weeks of continuous consumption to reach the full effect of the product, but watch out when you do! I would recommend this to experienced lifters, power lifters, bodybuilders, and others that are trying to break their plateaus. I would tell the inexperienced lifter, or someone who just got back into the gym (less than 6 months) to hold off on your purchase because your body is still acclimating to the stresses of the workouts. Be careful though, if you exceed what your tendons and ligaments are able to handle, you might get tendonitis (especially if you are a middle aged adult going for PR's n' stuff). Try it out, you will see!!! Oh yea, this amount is a long term supply, not just a 30 day supply. I usually buy two bottles at a time. It has somewhat of a sour taste to it, but is masked by just about anything you put it in. Water . . . just add the MIO stuff if the taste is off putting.

Carnosyn works… just not for me.
I’ve had Carnosyn in C4 drinks in the past and enjoyed how much it helped me workout so I wanted to buy it in bulk. After taking some today, within 20 minutes I had the worst gastrointestinal discomfort I’ve ever had from a supplement. It sucks because this stuff really does work! I guess it just doesn’t work for me unfortunately. I would recommend staying clear or being cognizant of this issue if you’re already prone to stomach issues.
