I needed earplugs to wear to concerts, and these have been fantastic. My ear canals are a bit on the smaller side, but these fit with no issues. It took a few wears to really get used to putting them in, but they are comfortable and work well. You can still hear people talking and have conversations with these on, even the heaviest cancellation. Loud music sounds great through these, and my ears don't hurt and they don't ring once the show is over. These are easy to clean with the solution they give you. Putting the filters in is easy, but taking them out can be a bit tough, so expect a little resistance when changing noise filters. I'm super impressed with the effectiveness at the pricepoint. I also love the little carrying case and I like how these fit well in the ears so people don't really notice them.

Having been a musician, songwriter, producer, and mix engineer for over 30 years, I need my ears! I never go to a concert or gathering of very loud talkers without them. I had custom molded Sensaphonics for 22 years until a certain wife sat them down behind me while were were in an ER and focused on other things. Rather than spend hundreds on replacements, I gave these a try. They have been a great solution and value. I ended up buying a 2nd set, since they come with 3 units in a box, rather just 2, I can now mix and match to have 3 sets; one each for white, silver, and gold. Now I can change levels in a loud environment without have to swap out the filters in at least 1 plug to end up with 2 units at a different DB protection. Swapping filters is not terribly hard, but they are held in place firmly - which is good. Swapping those out in concert audience lighting can be tricky and risks losing on of those filters, I recommend getting a 2nd set after confirm the product works well for you on the first set. NOTE: Even the gold-level filters were no match for sound pressure coming out of the nearby PA stack at the club concert were I recently saw Mammoth (Wolfgang Van Halen), but that's the first I've wished for more. I recommend these, or any quality filtersn to protect your hearing! Unlike a belly after you quit eating right, it doesn't come back and you may have a lot of years to regret it. What?

Came fast, work well, I find then comfortable. These are still a pain in the butt to get back out of your ears. That said I have been using this product for about 5 years.

I came to know Alpine when researching earplugs for riding motorcycles. Really liked what I had - comfortable, easy to insert and extract (they have a tail to pull them out). Had the opportunity to attend a Metallica M72 concert where I'd be close to the stage. Was concerned about the sound overwhelming the plugs I use for riding. Even though I had Alpine, I still did research for what was out there for musicians on stage. Figure - they are super close and must have good hearing protection. Short of, that is, getting custom ones made many of them have. Decided to go with these over another brand partly due to price and experience with another product of theirs. Used the highest protection "plugged" in. Have to say - they did phenomenally! Three bands over about 5 hours and could have left them in indefinitely. They were that comfortable. And the sound - was great! Didn't feel like I was missing anything. Some have posted they had issues getting the plugs out of their ears. These don't have the tabs like my motorcycle versions do. BUT they do have the string you can connect to them. It attaches to the stems, just under where the "plug" enters. Super easy to remove with that setup. It's really nice how Alpine includes a 3rd earplug in case something happens to one of the others. The Juice: There are three levels of sound attenuation offered through three sets of inserts. I chose the highest level (gold plug). My Apple Watch Ultra v1 sound level measurements indicated the max at the concert was 114 dB with many measurements in the 110 area. NEVER felt uncomfortable and when all was over, could tell hearing was not impacted. ONE WARNING - the cleaner these come with. It's a pump spray WITH a top that just pops off, not unscrews. I unscrewed it and lost 2/3rds of the fluid. It LOOKS like it just unscrews. Don't do what I did. In the end - highly recommend these plugs for attending music events/concerts.

I have owned 3-4 pairs of these over the course of two decades. They have been my go-to ear protection for loud events like concerts, races, air-shows, and sporting events. Worn them when playing drums and while mowing grass as well. They are discrete in ear, fit comfortably, and durable if you take care of them. I have tinnitus pretty bad, so I've tried many brands and version over the years. These have the best fit and keep clear sound at much lower volume. I keep coming back to this one. I worry they will quit manufacturing these at some point and I may cry.

With so many ear plugs on the market advertised as for musicians, I'm skeptical. But these seemed relatively affordable compared to some others. I immediately put them to the test at my drum kit , and swapped in an out each setting, and they really do make a difference in terms of letting you control the amount of noise reduction. Next I used them at band practice in a fairly small room (Probably 15x20) that was pretty boomy, and these did a great job of reducing volume while maintaining clarity. I'm so used to foam earplugs cutting out details, these were like a breath of fresh air. Really made a huge difference, and it felt like the volume was just right. Comfort wise, they're pretty great right out of the box, but I have no idea my ideal size for plugs like these. The included strap is really nice, and the case is high quality with little slots to save the other settings, and a little net to save the extra plug (which I find to be very thoughtful that they included!) Would recommend.

Zuerst sei natürlich gesagt, dass diese Art von Ohrstöpseln niemals an den Tragekomfort und die Klangqualität von Ohrplastiken herankommen kann. Ich spiele regelmäßig in einem lauten Proberaum Gitarre und stehe quasi direkt neben meinem Verstärker und war daher auf der Suche nach einem Gehörschutz, der günstig ist, aber auch eine gute Tonqualität hat. Getestet habe ich bisher die Filter in den Farben Silber und Weiß, also Medium und Low Protection und bin zu folgendem Fazit gekommen: Die Klangqualität ist bei beiden Filtern ziemlich gut. Alles hört sich fast genauso an wie ohne Ohrstöpsel, nur eben angenehm leise statt brüllend laut. Die silbernen Filter haben im Proberaum sehr gut den Schall gedämpft und ich hatte nach der Probe nicht mehr das gewohnte Dröhnen auf den Ohren. Die weißen Filter haben auch getan was sie konnten, aber es war dann doch zu laut im Proberaum. Der angegebene Lautstärkepegel für die weißen Filter ist "Bar noise", also Kneipengeräusche, welche in der Regel leiser sind, als ein Proberaum einer Heavy Rock Band :D Nun zum Tragekomfort: Zumindest in meinen Ohren passt der Ohrstöpsel im linken Ohr besser als im rechten, weswegen dort der Schall auch gefühlt etwas besser gedämpft wird. Es handelt sich eben um unisex one size for all Stöpsel und da kann sowas schon vorkommen, da nicht alle Ohren gleich sind. Mich persönlich stört das auch nicht, da mein Verstärker sowieso links von mir steht und ich alles gut hören konnte. Alles in allem ein günstiger und dafür aber qualitativ sehr guter Ohrschutz mit kleinen Einbußen im Tragekomfort, wenn man ungleichmäßige Gehörgänge hat.

muy buenos protectores para tus tímpanos. los llevé al EDC 2024 en México, y los usé los 3 días seguidos. usé el filtro más alto, el de color dorado, y la verdad es que dieron una super protección a mis oídos. no tuve jaqueca ningún día, además de que no quedé aturdido, a diferencia de algunos amigos que no llevaron protectores. no solo me protegió, si no que me permitió escuchar la música sin problemas y disfrutar de todo el festival. Lo único que si puedo decir que no me gustó del todo, es el cordón que tienen para colgarlos: el cordón parece un simple cordón de tela que se podría romper fácil, además de que es muy corto; varias veces llegué a jalarlo por accidente, casi tirando los tapones. Preferiría que fuera algo que diera más seguridad. fuera de eso, los tapones, su funda, los filtros están muy bien y son muy buenos.
