I can definitely say I’ve pulled plenty with it though such as a pontoon boats, flatbeds with cars, and a seedling trailer. I’ve probably overloaded it a few times. It’s a two person job to install any way you do it and a bottle jack will make install much easier. One word of caution. The instructions that came with it seemed to be for an earlier version. At first I thought I was missing parts, as the instructions indicated more nuts & bolts than came with it, but all the necessary hardware was there.
