Does a great job relaying speech to distanced musicians in a large hall
I bought this wireless PA device to help an orchestral conductor communicate with players at the back of an amateur orchestra that was meeting under Covid-safe conditions. The 30 players had to be socially distanced and so were spread over a much larger area than usual, and the conductor had to avoid shouting and spreading droplets. Without some kind of help, the players at the back could not hear him clearly. This device works very well. The conductor wears the headset and the speaker unit is placed on a tripod about half way back in the orchestra, which also avoids problems with feedback. In a two-hour session, only about 20% of the speaker's battery charge is used. The headset would need to be recharged more often, but it will also operate while being charged, so its working life can be extended using a USB charging battery block in the conductor's pocket. Used for six rehearsals so far without trouble. One minor drawback -- no tripod mounting bush, just loops for straps and a belt clip; but I hook the belt clip onto an old flash-gun bar, mounted on the tripod.

Good value and works reasonably well
Used in our art class so students at the back can hear and it does the job. I nearly gave it 5 stars but the default volume is too loud and just edges on distortion as a result. Its hard to find the right buttons to turn it down (black on black) and no confirmation tone, so unless you do it whilst the person is speaking it is completely hit and miss. I tend to press what I hope is the right button twice. Often that works....a minor niggle hence the 4 stars

VOLUME IS ADEQUATE FOR MEDIUM SIZED GROUP
THIS AMLIFIER IS EXCELLENT FOR EVENTS AT OUR WEEKLY CLUB FOR AGING MEMBERS. USED FOR BINGO AND GENERAL COMMUNICATION. THE VOLUME IS MORE THAN ADEQUATE FOR THE SIZE OF THE ROOM AND THE GROUP OF 50 MENBERS.

Poor volume amplifier on full volume. My own voice without shouting was louder.
Easy to set up, can’t comment on battery life as I only had it half an hour before I returned it. Volume was so poor that even on full volume, my own voice was louder without shouting. If I wanted to use it as advertised, the box on my belt, the headset on my head, I got terrible feedback screech, making it unusable, so my use that I had for it, to stand it on my art table at art class, and sit and talk with the headset on half a foot away from the speaker box was impossible. If I went out of line of sight of the speaker box with the headset, it stopped transmitting to the box. The box was very small, about the size of a half pint mug, probably why it wasn’t very powerful. For the cost, I would have expected a better sound output, and there to be no feedback screech when the microphone was one foot away from the speaker box. In conclusion, this is a very low quality voice amplifier not fit for use. I would go elsewhere for your voice amplifier needs. I do not recommend this product.

Superb voice amplifier
The Shidu M800 voice amplifier is superb - ergonomic, extremely well built, easy to use. Volume is excellent, as is Bluetooth playback (from mobile phone). Microphone and Bluetooth can be used simultaneously, so you can talk over - i.e. with - music. I am absolutely delighted with this purchase, and give it 5 stars in every department without hesitation.

Saved my voice!!!
I use this for teaching exercise classes. It's good for low impact classes. Used for step also and it tends to bounce around so needed to clip it down. Have done me a great deal of service!

Quality product
Wifi worked well, good volume without feedback, mic picked up voice well. Solid product with lots of features other than just for boosting voice.

I was suprised how good this sounded for voice reproduction. My wife used it to lead an outdoor water areobics class and the sound carried very well. The range on the mic is probably about 20ft. not good for music but great for voice.

Its lousy. Bluetooth connection is fiddly and intermittent. And the worse is it doesn’t have actual aux mic connection available.
