Best breathing mesh hat I have for outdoor physical training. Keeps the sun, rain, and sweat out of my eyes, and keeps me cool as well. 10/10, would do again.

Excellent material and great fit

Super comfortable and high quality material on the inside. Like other reviews have said, the outer mesh is not a soft material but that helps hold its shape. Very comfortable on the skin of the head and can be worn on hot days out at the range with over the ear hearing protection comfortably (no top button). Brown is a perfect actual coyote brown and matches AR500 gear. Bill is thick and well formed. Overall this will be my favorite summer hat... even over a few of them with the softer mesh.

Exactly as it appears. The usual excellent helikon-tex quality. I expect good service life.

My new favorite hat in summer. Except when it's raining. The only down side to this hat is the front velcro loop area is too wide by almost 1 inch for standard morale patches, so a 1/2 inch of loop sticks out each side of your morale patch.

I love the interior sweatband that keeps the sweat from running in my eyes on hot days and the mesh is very breathable. Keeping in mind that this hat IS entirely mesh, those of us with shaved heads have to take precautions to not get roasted on sunny days. I like the velcro patches on the hat since I've gotten a variety of my state's historical flag patches and can swap them out as I see fit. I use the velcro on the back for rank insignia, the velcro on the adjuster for a name tag but haven't found a use for the glint-tape square on the top. Spectre gunships don't normally fly around the prison that I work at.......

I'm 5'2" and I've got a 22 inch circumference head, which is the default size of any baseball hat before adjusting the back strap. Maybe they've gone down in quality recently, but they're skimping on material from the top to the bottom edge, shrinking the crown size. This makes the hat too shallow to sit securely, even if tightening the back strap. Also, because they skimped on material, tightening the strap causes the fabric at the back to bunch and stick up, looking ridiculous. It rides a good half inch above my ears, and hats should just be touching the top of my ears. Any patch on this hat sits above my forehead, at my hairline. My other patch hats fit perfectly and patches sit where it should -- at the center of my forehead. This is not a normal hat, it's badly made and unusable. And won't even work for a child because the circumference is adult size. Maybe Helikon-Tex is unaware their manufacturer in China is doing this. Do not buy this hat. Returning.
