Not sure why that is not part of the original. I think they like the repetition and it makes it longer. A very cute book for touchy feely stage of development.

This is a good interactive book for my 9 month old grandson's to be read to. When I read it I always repeat "If I were a puppy" for each page. Not sure why that is not part of the original.
