SonyPortable Sports AM/FM Radio (SRF-M78)

If you can find this item somewhere, I recommend that you buy it. I have had it for 10 years, and it has been dropped, kicked over, rained on (light rain), and it keeps going. Granted, it's only an am/fm radio, but I happen to love a certain fm station.

Got the item in about a week and in the advertised condition. It's a used sports walkman so as expected there's a few "character" scratches/scuffs but that's to be expected. Surprisingly good/clear sound for it's size.Good stereo separation. I'm able to pick up several stations at my location(it has the local/dx switch which aids in bringing in the more distant stations) You get 5 am and 5 fm pre-set station buttons which is a nice time-saver. Mine came w/ the arm-band..tried that but felt like it was cutting off my circulation..doubt I'll use that(it's removable) but other folks out there might like that feature. Overall a good value for the money..I can definitely recommend this item.

Very good radio. Easy to use, good reception. Easy to secure around your arm. One strange thing is that the volume control goes the opposite of every other device I've had. Turning to the left turns it up and turning to the right turns it down.

The earphones were not delivered, and the base part did not work! Will never buy from this seller again. Doesn’t even answer follow up messages?

He wears it on his arm all day and says it works really well so I am happy!

These are good but I've had trouble with the earphone socket getting dysfunctional. And they use a lot of battery life , still pretty good , I liked this for a while.

this is a simple to use "old timer" radio. i ran so many miles with my original one that i wore it out. bought a new portable one and was so complicated since it did many more things than i wanted and certainly needed. could not simply move from station to station like this tried and true walkman!!

Worked fine, usable and in good condition
