One of the Best Flavors & Smoothness ... Here's Why!
In 2011, when StarBucks broke away from Tassimo Bosch over a contractual dispute, I was completely disappointed, and wonderedwhat other Options were going to be available, in the meantime, I purchased a warehouse supply of StarBuck's Coffee & Cappuccino andstarted researching a New Coffee Machine, and then ... in November, I found out that Starbucks was offering the "K-Cup" Version, for the Keurig Coffee machines. I ordered and received a Brand New B145 OfficePRO model, a supposedly 'Heavy-Duty' Keurig Model ...In January, I started to put the Keurig thru it's paces, along side the Tassimo, and frankly the Tassimo is still SUPERIOR, in the way that it Brews for Better Flavor, has a Faster Brewing Cycle, and heats the H2O to the Optimal Temperature, than the Keurig, which BTW, is/was a lot NOSIER than the Tassimo. In all fairness, this could be a 'technical' problem with the Bar Code settings on the K-Cups. Note , that I continued to also use my Red Tassimo unit, as it is/was the only coffee unit to use the Milk Creamers, as Keurig still does not offer that option, anywhere! In February, I left on a 3-week trip, and as I always do, I turned off all the unnecessary electric Household appliances, and took off. When I returned back this month of March, I was so PISSED to find out that the Brand New Keurig was totally INOPERABLE!Nada! Zip! Zero! Despite, doing everything that was Recommended on Forums (don't go the Keurig Forums, as they are so Worthless!)Right now, I have a large, fancy Keurig BRICK that I am attempting to get a Refund for, so stay tuned!* Sumatra Dark - Pike Place + Colombian + French Roast + Folgers are the different varieties that I tried on the New Keurig machine. The Colombian & Sumatra Dark Roast are the Best of the lot and the French Roast is also recommended to try out.Read my comments, after each bullet item: * Features fresh Starbucks coffee in an easy-to-brew single-cup (K-Cup) serving. - Not as good as the Tassimo, which is about 2 Steps BELOW a StarBucks Coffee House. I often found the Keurig "Brew" to be a tad Watery, not Rich & Flavorful. * Brews in 1 minute or less, so you can grab a cup when you're in a rush. - BUT, you have to Turn the Unit ON FIRST, so that it will Warm Up first, before the Blue Light comes on, indicating that it is ready to start brewing. * Medium Roast Ground Coffee - They call it 'Medium', but I think it's more MILD! * Smooth & Balanced - Disagree, Balanced with What? Tea? * Rumor of a Sale Price of only 38 buckaroos at Sam's Club & Costco - I cannot confirm this rumor.* There is now a New Rumor that StarBucks is going to be offering their Consumer Coffee Machine in the fall!Stay Tuned!

Sumatra fan from way back
I like my coffee strong and dark. I also drink just under one cup a day, so I can be picky, and because I drink so little, I never go to Starbucks (I've also had some unpleasant experiences with their coffees.) After years of experimenting, I settled on Sumatra Mandheling Dark Roast as my house coffee. I brewed it in every kind of coffee-maker known to humankind, and again, settled on Melitta drip or French press. Then we got a Keurig. With it came a sampler, all of which was pretty awful, to my taste. So I was delighted to find Sumatra Dark. The fact that it's put out by Starbucks is unfortunate, but unlike their whole-bean coffees, this has never had that burned taste.I bought it in the grocery store when I could find it, but it was pretty expensive. So I was glad to see it here and bought a couple of boxes of it. (But then I found another Sumatra Dark for sale in bulk at a local cemmercial coffee-service supplier, so that's what I drink now.)Here's what I like about this coffee:- It's strong and dark. Strong enough to stand up to the milk foam I top it with for my morning cappuccino.- When I brew it for the 4-oz. cup instead of the 8-oz., it's even stronger.- It's very smooth.- It's never bitter, even on the morning when I've run out of milk.- It's low in acid, so my stomach appreciates it as well as my taste-buds.Here's what I'm not wild about:- It's expensive. Given that Keurig is hardly an inexpensive way to make coffee in the first place, this stuff is up there. That's why I buy mine in bulk locally.Overall, though, this is good coffee, if you like it strong, rich, smooth, and low in acid.

Tasty and convenient. Expensive.
I really enjoy this flavor. The pucks are very convenient, but too expensive, I've gone to the beans and grind them myself. You can buy the kit separately.Ends up it's just the strength I want.

Great coffee for Keurig
I love this starbucks coffee. It's very dark and a very good coffee taste. I'm not able to buy this type of coffee, Sumatra starbucks coffee, from any place else except for starbucks stores which is more expensive then buying it on amazon.I hope you are able to continue to sell this produce as I am planning to buy more very soon

I need an IV Drip of Sumatra
You know what's sad? At the time of purchasing this, I was a Starbucks employee, and this was less expensive than the same product on the actual starbucks site.... with my partner discount included!I am true to my half-Jewish roots (aka I am SUPER cheap), and this made me happy. I saved a few bucks and I still got my coffee ;)

Tastes good
I like Sumatra because it has a nice smell and taste besides bold, and dark. Not acid, and not bitter. Janet Tien

Good Coffee, bold flavor, but just a little pricey in comparison to other k-cups. No bitter taste, good flavor nice carmel color
