exact fit and works perfect, great value

A little bit noisy but over a year of hard use and it still works great and blows cold

Lasted 9 years 2 months, then the clutch started blowing the fuse. Can’t beat it for what it cost. I just ordered another. Very happy with the purchase.

Replaced the AC compressor oil to match to my truck's specs, as directed on their instruction sheet. (I believe the oil I put in was exactly what what I dumped out in the first place.) Had to run around to several parts stores to find the appropriate Orings for the AC line ends, as they weren't in my package. Then, successfully Installed the compressor. Rotated the clutch by hand for a minute or two to make sure all seals were well lubricated. Gradually charged the system with Freon. Ran perfectly and blew cold air for 30 mins. Turned the engine off. Came back half hour later and started my truck. AC kicked on, compressor began seizing and making loud grinding noises. Jumped out of my truck to find AC oil and freon flowing out of the compressor. Hours of work gone to waste, not to mention the $100 worth of freon laying on the driveway.

This pump arrived in good condition and was serviced with the correct amount and the right oil. The pump fit perfectly and worked well. I know it is an inexpensive replacement, but it does work; time will tell regarding durability. I was surprised at the quality of the castings for the price.

So far, it's okay, but I was worried. When I received the compressor, it looked like the box had been opened. It didn't seem like a used part so I installed it. No instructions or papers in the box so make sure you down load it. It says that it has oil in it for shipping and to drain it and then add in your vehicle recommend pag oil. You need to measure the amount taken out of the old compressor as that's what needs to be added to the new one. If not, you might overfill the system with oil. It also says to flush your system as your failed compressor could have passed debris. Good luck.

Very happy with the quality, packaging and fit. Exact replacement for our 2006 GMC Sierra k1500. FYI, it came with oil inside for shipment, be sure to order new ac oil with it, drain the packaging oil before installation and some refrigerant cans (find out your vehicle's capacity). Bolted on, still works perfectly! Great buy!!!!
