Schmidt Brothers Cutlery Midtown Knife Block, Teak

I received this knife block Feb 4. It is lovely and a perfect match for our kitchen. Unfortunately the wood has developed a crack at a seam. It is March 23 and I just looked into contacting seller about replacement but it is apparently past the window of opportunity for return/replacement. I had read the comments before purchasing and I was careful to not over-tighten the screws. I do absolutely love the look and reclaiming the counter space that used to hold a large knife block.

Item looks nice. Clear side makes it easy to see which knife you are pulling out. Not like the blocks where you usually get the wrong knife.Holds 4 knives per side okay.My only issue is the magnet inside the wood that holds the knife in place.If you have a shorter or pairing knife the magnet will not hold it. The magnet is only in the middle.

This was a gift and my daughter loved it. Space saver with plenty of room to store the knives she uses. Small scratch by one of the screws that holds the plastic in place but not enough to warrant a return.

I have been looking at this knife block for some time now. We just received it and it is very attractive and holds 8 of our knives. Takes up very little room on the counter. It arrived in good condition...due to the packaging. So far, very pleased.

We just received our Schmidt Brothers Teak Knife block today. It arrived in perfect condition and is stunningly beautiful. All of my knives fit on it perfectly including my bread knife. I could not be more pleased!
