I am writing this review after just one use. We received the items on Thursday and put it to use the very next day. It is often hard to buy for your kids as they get older. It seems their interest become video games and technology. This was a surprisingly delightful switch. I bought the item based on the Amazon reviews. They all seemed pretty positive And they were right. My child is just turning 12. He asked for a couple friends to come over and hang out. I bought this hoping it would give us some great fun and another way to celebrate his birthday. I was able to get together about 13 people, included us parents and we headed for a local sports field. It was amazing fun! A great way to partner with the kids and strategize our next moves. We split adults up onto both teams. No way were we going to give them the advantage of youth vs. the oldies (we are all just 40 something). We played for over two hours and the kids were not ready to call it in. I can see that we will have years of fun with this, even when they reach high school. I strongly suggest it. I felt it was pricey when I bought it, but it is so worth the money they ask. The only down side to the game is that sometimes the wristband falls off. We had two come apart completely but were able to get them back together. When they come apart, you often have to have another teammate help put it back on. I wouldn’t let this stop you. The experience is well worth the minor inconvenience!

We ordered this for our son's 11th birthday party and the boys LOVED it! Capture the flag is already fun but this took it to the next level. We might as well have paid a ton of money to rent someplace out it was so well received. Great idea.

This is the most exciting game my daughter has received in along time. They love to play man hunt when there is a party and this was just like it! We had ten players and they played for 2 hours! They are 13 but I think this game would be enjoyed by ages up to adults. You definitely receive hours of fun for very little price!

We bought this game for our 12 year old son for Christmas to help him get off video games and play outside with his friends. He originally showed interest but each time we suggested he play with his friends, he said no. Eventually he said he didn't want it anymore and we should take it back. My wife and I were very disappointed and so decided to keep it. We had friends with kids over last night and decided to play. He reluctantly said "yes". Everyone ended up having a great time, especially my son. The kids ages ranged from 8 to 15 years old. Since we were short one player to make even teams, I decided to play as well. (50 years old) We played wizard since one of the kids had a broken ankle and couldn't run. It was a great way of including him and he enjoyed moving the players around. We were all laughing and sweating from running around for an hour and a half. By the time we were done, the kids were planning which game variation they wanted to do next time. This is a really fun game that many ages can play at once. The lights are very bright and work well in many lighting conditions. I suggest playing on grass or other soft surface as the kids tend to drop the orbs whenever they get tagged. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because the rules were difficult to understand when it came to people guarding the orbs. Our wizard had to move people if we were stuck in a stalemate. We will figure it out though. It is a great game. If you are thinking of getting it, you should buy it now.

This idea is great! We got this for my almost 10 year old for Christmas. He’s been dying to play. Yesterday was his birthday so we bought the expansion pack and did a capture the flag themed birthday party. Right out of the box the green orb flag wasn’t working great (kept flickering with new battery) then got dropped and instantly broke. A few of the bracelets wouldn’t light up either with new batteries. For as much as you pay for this you would think it would be more durable or made out of something more shock resistant. So sad that within first few minutes it was broken. But the idea was fun and the kids didn’t want to even take a break to eat pizza, cake or ice cream. *** UPDATE*** customer service is wonderful! Helped and were very positive. Took my suggestion about a possible silicone cover over the “flag” orbs in case of accidentally dropping. Replaced and made things right. Went above and beyond. Can’t wait to try again!

Great game! Bought this for my son's 12th birthday party and the kids absolutely loved it! Have also used it as a fun end of the year activity with his football team. All the kids love it, definitely recommend!

Bought this for my 10 year olds birthday and the kids had a blast. Later discovered it’s a fantastic game for a family beach trip with multiple generations!

Overpriced for what it is. Fun concept. Will be returning.

Firstly I am astounded at the amazing customer service I experienced. (Lindsay you are brilliant at your job and a true professional). We had a few pieces not work and this was swiftly resolved and the company truly care and want you to enjoy the product- it's been years since I have experienced such exemplary customer service. The product- AMAZING! was the reaction of my computer game obsessed teen and his younger sister equally enthusiastic. We have spent weeks playing various versions including a whole week on holiday where the internet didnt feature once and we were all engaged, active and outside- bliss. The game modes are great and enable a play and go facility but we loved pondering them and making our own- plan by day and play by night! That said we have used the pieces for many other games during the day without lighting them up so the value has been great. The kids love it, they get exercise, all ages can participate what more do you want? I no longer think how do I occupy them but rather how can we incorporate this? It's been on one holiday with us, is soon to come on another has been requested at both their next birthdays... what can I say? Brilliant.

We took "Capture the Flag" with us on our camping trip, and the kids had an absolute blast! They invited some friends over, and they ended up playing for hours. It was such a hit that even people from other campsites came over to ask about the game, and some of their kids wanted to join in too! It's a fantastic outdoor activity that kept everyone entertained and engaged. Highly recommend for any family trip!

Das Spiel ist wirklich der Hammer! Hatten es mit auf Klassenfahrt, die Kinder haben es geliebt und wollten es jeden Abend spielen (Jungs und Mädchen). Auch zu Hause mit den Nachbarn spielen sie es oft und kommen schweißgebadet und glücklich nach Hause. Der Kundenservice ist super und ersetzt alle kaputten Teile. Haben es jetzt seit 9 Monaten dauerhaft im Einsatz. Zu Hause ging in der ganzen Zeit nur ein Armband kaputt, auf der Klassenfahrt letzte Woche dann noch eine Kugel und 4 weitere Armbänder. Die Kugel wurde auf Beton geworfen, kann man aber kleben und bei den 5 von 28 Armbändern brach beim Schließen der Nupsie ab. Wurden aber wie gesagt ersetzt. Nur mit "Komm wir spielen Ticken" kommt man heute nicht mehr weit, aber ein paar Leuchtearmbänder und schon sind alle ganz heiß drauf. Es macht wirklich viel Spaß. Bisher haben wir nur die Grundregeln ausprobiert, werden aber als nächstes die Varianten von der Starlux-Homepage in Angriff nehmen. Auch auf Kindergeburtstagen und Klassenfesten toll. Das dritte Team in Magenta gibt es noch nicht in Deutschland zu bestellen, laut Kundenservice soll das aber bald soweit sein. Absolute Kaufempfehlung!!! Und als Tipp: Vorher erklären, wie man den Verschluss befestigt und ggf helfen. Große Kugeln möglichst nicht werfen.
