ChocZero's White Chocolate Chips - No Sugar Added, Low Carb, Keto Friendly, Gluten Free - For Baking Keto Diet Cookies and Dessert (1 Bag)

These are quite good for making desserts for people who can't have much sugar. They're sweet, and they might taste a bit more like caramel than white chocolate, but they still make a nice dessert all the same. I was a little surprised by how small the bag was, though, for $8 and change. But, it's not an easy product to find in general.

I used a Good Dee’s packaged low carb “sugar” cookie mix with these chips and fresh roasted Macadamia Nuts. The cookies turned out so yummy! The products I order from the Choc Zero website do not arrive melted even with crazy hot climate change temps in the Midwest! I’ve tried the Lily products, but they gave me TERRIBLE gas and the Stevia gives them a weird sweetness. Choc Zero products, by and large, taste delicious (some have a weak flavor.) A good thing is they do not have Erythritol, which has been found to cause heart disease.

I think everything could have been a 5 star had I not received the bag of chips MELTED. I do live in Arizona but it was only 68 degrees today and the minute it was delivered it went inside. I tried them ASAP and found my bag of chips melted all together....they are very expensive but well worth it if they hadn’t been melted. You might think about another way to deliver them or I may have to buy them in the winter months.

Updating my original review below. Since I wrote this, I have ordered these again. I honestly have looked everywhere for white chocolate chips free of white sugar and artificial sweeteners and these are the closest thing I have found. Even Lily’s don’t work for me because they have stevia in them as well as natural flavors. I still think the texture is not ideal (chewy like caramel instead of creamy like chocolate), but I have gotten used to it and because these do not give me any digestive issues, they are the ones I will use. So I changed my rating from 2 stars to 4. They still take a long time to arrive and I am sure they will be melted, but the good news is that even though they melt, they break apart after and are useable. Original 2 star review: I was looking for a white chocolate chip that was free of white sugar and not sweetened with artificial things or stevia (I have a sensitivity to Stevia). I thought I struck gold with these but they took 10 days to arrive. They came in a very nice insulated, reusable package but it was way bigger than the small bag of chips inside. Also - the only cooling agent what a small ice pack, which after 10 days of travel, was completely melted and so where the chips. I was able to break them up a bit and was hopeful to still use them. However - I have to say, the flavor is not bad…but the texture was unexpected and a little weird. Instead of being creamy when they melt in your mouth, they were like…well, caramel in texture. Very chewy I would say. I don’t think I will get these again.

I love these because they do not have sugar alcohols that tear me up. They have pure stevia and monk fruit to sweeten. I use these in my coffee for a white chocolate mocha. Just add to the hot coffee and stir till melted. The sugar-free syrups do NOT taste like white choc at all and most have sugar alcohols too. This works great for me.

I appreciate the company tried to avert the melting by sending in a special case with an ice pack however, it did nothing an it arrived in one solid piece that had melted, not chips. I will say it is a super tasty product and heaven for a white chocolate lover but I'll await for fall/winter to order again

I was very happy to find these sugar free baking chips. I use them for fudge for the holidays. Our diabetics and yes the children who are on sugar restriction are very excited to have a treat, and leave a bite for Santa…but no longer do diabetics feel left out. It’s so easy. 1 bag chips, 1/2 stick butter, small can evap milk, 1 1/2 cups Splenda, nuts….bring milk butter sugar to boil, boil exactly 4 minutes. Add chips and nuts, I add sugar chocolate to top while hot….reverse for a different flavor……THANK YOU SO MUCH….

I will not be buying this item or any baking item again that ships from amazon. It was completely melted. I don’t know what I’m going to make with a glob of white chocolate. I got the package as soon as it was delivered. At the most 3minutes it was outside because my husband called me as son as he got the alert. My other choc zero dark chocolate came directly from them and with an ice pack. Lesson learned.
