Hitcase Pro Waterproof Case for iPhone 5 & 5s - Black

My wife and I bought the hitcase for our trip to Turks and Caicos. The picture quality is top notch and it does an amazing job protecting your phone. We took it in the sand and ocean every day and it held up great.I recommend rinsing the case with water before opening it or putting the lens cap back on to avoid scratching or damage to your phone. Hang it out to dry open after use.

I bought Hitcase pro for my Iphone 5. It works very well. It is not a case for daily use.Pros :Tough case.Waterproof. - I taste it & it works very well -I loved the wide angel lens & their free app.Cons :It came with many scratches because the mount was broken . I was very upset.I found it difficult to listen to music because it blocks the speakers.Sometimes You have to be careful so you don't break of the lens.They have a great customer serves. On the other hand , I contacted with one of them & I didn't like the way he talked to me but he did the job well.Over all I do recomend this case if you want a powerful & stylish one

Ive had every waterproof case out there, lifeproofs, otterboxes, incipio atlas etc. All of these are meant as put it on and leave it on cases, which wasn't the way I used them so they ended up broken pretty quick. This is a different type of product in the sense that they made it easy to just use on the go, when you need it. On any given day Ive found myself putting my phone in and out of the case a couple of times. I have their Motor mount on my Motorbike, and use it as a GPS/Navigation setup. Replaced my 600 dollar Garmin! I just bought the Chester mount for some mountain biking stuff I want to do, and probably for Ski season. My only complaint was there wasn't a lens cover in the box so I nicked the lens once, but when I ordered my Chester they ended up putting a lens cap in the box without telling me for free.. Big ups for that.

Sure it's waterproof, and can withstand some pretty nasty falls while sustaining only minor scratches to the plastic case. However the screen protector is an entirely different problem in itself. First of all, the screen protector, which is attached to the case, and can't be removed, is so damn thick that I feel like I'm trying to stab through the plastic barrier to interact with my phone. Pictures, and video are okay, if you like having that fisheye on everything. If you're accident prone, want a cool looking case, but don't want to use your phone, get it. Otherwise, you're better off getting an Otterbox.

Prior to leaving for vacation, I researched water tight devices on the web that would fit my 3 month old iPhone 5.Hitcase Pro got great reviews, so I went ahead and purchased it on Amazon, from The Gear Co-op.After diving into the ocean - my iPhone 5 is now toast. Hitcase Pro sucks. Don't buy it.Let me take you through all the steps that I took: When I received it, I unpacked it from the shipping box, which was in perfect, un-damaged condition. Then I simply packed it, still the in the Hitcase Pro box, in my carry on suitcase. The Hitcase box was also in perfect, un-tampered condition.In Mexico, I opened it, went on line, and watched the water test tutorial on hitcase.com/go in full. I was very careful to do the water test, with the tissue paper, as advised. I did it twice - once in the sink with approximately 8 inches of water - the other in the bathtub with about 2 feet. I weighted it down with a drinking glass in the sink, then moved it slightly around in the bathtub, (because we were scheduled to go snorkeling that after noon with a guide). I shook the water off, then towel dried the outside of the Hitcase Pro with a towel, before opening it, each time. No water inside.BOTH times the tissue came out perfectly dry. So I figured AWESOME! Good to go. I did the exact same procedure that I did before with the tissue, but this time with my actual phone. I checked the seals to make sure they were tight, no buttons were pushed down, etc.Before leaving for our snorkeling trip that afternoon, I had taken several shots with it on dry land, and the images were amazing! I was SO excited to use it in the water.I love the photo's that my iPhone takes so I decided not to even bring another camera. Plus, I really wanted to use the wide angle lens that Hitcase provided.All vacation photo's lost - due to Hitcase Pro & no internet iCloud back up at the hotel. In addition, now I have to buy a new phone.I contacted Hitcase - the customer service was great - but they DID and offered NOTHING. Again - Horrible product. Returning it.

The case is both a hit-and-miss. It is a hit in that the case is a tank and is protecting my phone extremely well. The hitcase has plowed through water and bang-around events amazingly well which is why I bought the case.However, it is a miss in that the case is very un-user friendly when I do not need it as a tank protecting my phone. In particular, you have to take the phone out of the case to charge it. So, like getting in a tank vs. a BMW, you have to laboriously open the three locking hinges to get the phone out to charge it. This has added an extra step to my everyday use of my phone.In the end, the "hit" is worth more to me than the "miss," but the miss was more than a hassle than was anticipated.

If you have an iPhone and you want a case that will withstand most adventures while allowing you take pretty awesome photos, get this case! I toyed with the idea of buying a GoPro for a recent trip to Belize and then discovered this gem which is either made by or in connection with GoPro. The case is completely waterproof and easy to use and also takes fantastic pictures on land and in the ocean with the included lens.,The only remotely negative thing I found was that you need to surface while snorkeling in order to change between video and photo mode.

Although a little bulky and the clasps a little stiff this case protects your phone excellently and takes good photos. I have used it while mountain biking and while snorkelling without any problems. I've owned it over a year now and enjoy using it. If it were to break I would definitely purchase another.

Das Gehäuse kam unglaublich schnell (am nächsten tag). Ich habe sie gleich ausprobiert und sie ist perfekt wasserdicht, und das Weitwinkel-Objektiv ist phänomenal!!! Man sieht die Hand im Foto wie sie das Handy hält! Ich bin begeistert!

Les photos/vidéos sont trop déformées par la lentille intégrée à la coque (presque un rendu "fish eye"). C'est dommage car cela est presque uniquement adapté aux vidéos d'actions. Pas très adapté pour des photos de vacances...
