The DESCO 19640 Surface Resistance Checker is a portable, battery-powered device designed for quick and accurate verification of surface resistance in ESD Protected Areas. Featuring automatic voltage selection between 10V and 100V, color-coded LED indicators, and NIST calibration, it ensures compliance with industry standards while offering reliable, on-the-spot measurements without the need for special batteries or charging.

## Description

Once reading is finalized, the surface resistance exponent will remain displayed as long as test button is depressed. Provides exponent range of resistance measurement which is often all that is required for determining if a material is intended for an ESD Protected Area. Optional 5 pound electrodes and leads for resistance measurements: Use the same checker to indicate resistance point-to-point (Rtt) and resistance to ground (Rtg) of larger surfaces (flooring, mats). NIST Calibrated: Calibrated with accepted procedures and standards traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Made in America.
