I have tried them all on my 383 small block Chevy engines. The Edelbrock "high flow" was rated at 180. It was made in China and opened at 160 degrees. The Mr Gasket balanced design, also made in China, a copy of the Robert Shaw balanced design. When tested in boiling water, it did not open evenly. It only opened on one side. The Flow Cooler "Robert Shaw" balanced. Country of origin unknown. The design is such that it does not maintain temp consistently and appears somewhat restrictive. The Superstat, made in Israel, is a quality piece, constructed from stainless steel. It is dead nuts accurate. I have the fans kick on at 195 in traffic. The engine will cool down to 178, at which point the thermostat closes.
