29" Tall Taylor Round Pedestal Table Base (PD-R2901-RW-UNF)

My wife had been bugging me for years to replace our 4 leg dining table with a pedestal table. When my wife mentioned that you could purchase an aftermarket pedestal for our existing table, I gave it a try with product. The end result was just spectacular. Couldn't be happier. The project did involve a bit of engineering, gluing the two halves of the old table together, and using a 36 inch round plywood support rather than the retangular 17 inch support supplied with the pedestal. I thought that wood look lovely when stained, although those wanting a completely consistent stain color might be less happy. A happy customer!

A finely craft piece of furniture that met our needs exactly. Used it with a 58” table top and is very sturdy and stable. Although I painted it, I would have felt very comfortable staining it too. Was finely sanded such that I didn’t need to do any prep prior to painting.

We used this pedestal for a 60” round table after the original pedestal was damaged when the table was basically brand new. We had to very slightly modify the board that attaches to the bottom of the table top by drilling 4 new holes but that was it. It is very sturdy and looks like it is a perfect match for the table. Very happy this was an affordable option to save a table we love!

I bought two pedestals and upon placing the table top, one broke and one stayed intact. Seller was awful and refused to refund or replace. I had to file a claim through Amazon. If I could rate this seller and product ZERO stars- I would!

I used this as the base for a 66" round table top made from 6/4 cherry. The rubberwood stained up nicely to match the cherry top, and it is sturdy enough to hold the heavy top.

I am very impressed with everything about it. Everything.

The pedestal is solidly built and sturdy enough to support a 30” x 48” rectangular tabletop, as advertised.
