Work great for stopping groundhogs
Very sturdy, made for larger nuisance critters. I had a family of five or more living under my house. In a week, a pest control company managed to live trap five. In the meantime, we filled holes and entrances, then installed two boxes of Dig Defence in the affected areas. I tried to install, but it was too hard for me. Requires using a small sledgehammer for best install. My grandson took over. It's been about a year since the fencing was first installed, so far the crawlspace is groundhog free. Recently added another box for good measure. Expensive, but after multiple years of fighting the problem I finally can breathe easy.

Perfect fix for old chain link fenced yard
Works easily and very well. Our 40yr old chain link fence has many small pockets due to fox, groundhogs, rabbits wiggling into our yard (to get to gardens) and then our dogs enlarging them. These panels are perfect - our large dogs are instantly aware they no longer have a sneaky belly crawl exit. For the ease of install and instant effect, worth every penny

Kept the groundhogs out!
We bought a big shed for the backyard to replace the 20 yr old one we had. The groundhogs destroyed all underneath it so we bought these to pound in the ground. So far, so good! No critters under there!

outstanding and sturdy. Very effective.
I have large dogs that can push under stock fencing, and even chain link (I have an acre in wire stock fencing side on sides/back and high chain link in front). The dig defense product hammers in deeply even in dug areas, does not bend during or after install. To place next to a post set in concrete, I can clip off a few tines with a bolt cutter for a good fit. I then fasten the fence to the steel barriers with zip ties or aluminum fence ties. The first order I installed 5 or 6 yrs ago, installed more a year or two ago. No rust or issues. Great product, heartily recommend by me.

Easy to install and work great
These a nicely made and easier to install that I expected. They are extremely sturdy. You can pound them into the ground with a regular hammer without fear to bending them. It made closing off some areas under my shed simple. Cutting requires a good saw or cutter. I used a rip saw and metal blade to quickly cut to length. My only complaint is they are kind of expensive, but I recommend it without hesitation and would purchase more if needed.

It Absolutely Works!
I've had a multi-year problem with groundhogs trying to dig in next to my house. After significant landscaping damage last year I finally decided to find a permanent solution to the problem and purchased the Dig Defense barrier system. This spring I have a determined groundhog trying it's best to excavate a hole, but it can't get very far. Finally! It does take some digging to excavate a trench to place the product, but in the long run it's worth the effort. Also, note that the metal can be cut to size with a hacksaw. A Dremel would probably work to trim it. I've attached a couple of photos showing where the groundhog tried to dig through yesterday. It would go down about 6 to 8 inches before giving up and trying another spot.

Perfect for my dogs who try to escape
These are great for my naughty German Shepards who are trying to get to the next door neighbors little yappers. Definitely does the job. The value was good and they are quite sturdy.

Expensive, but well made
These things are expensive, but they are very well made. I was able to drive them through an area covered in brick chips with no problem. Used them to close up a vacated groundhog hole that had been being used for years and so far, so good. They go deep enough into the ground to deter additional digging and they stay stable and in place. Pest control wanted $1500 to do my whole shed, so I did the hot spots with one package of these for a fraction of the cost. If I decided to do the whole building I could still do it much cheaper by ordering 4 or 5 packs of these. Very satisfied.
