I bought this pack with a large quantity because I felt it would be a useful thing to have around when I need one. My photos show exactly why I wanted these hooks. I used to always keep my keys in my pants pockets when I was out and about. I have lupus and have gotten extremely sensitive to daylight and florescent light, both of which make lupus disease more active. I therefore had to revise my wardrobe to clothing items with UV protection embedded into the fabric. Unfortunately UV protective leg wear, mostly comes in the form of leggings, most of which have NO pockets. I was losing my keys in the depths of my purse for months, sometimes getting quite stressed out over fear of having lost them. Yes, I cleaned out unnecessary items from my purse. However, someone with lupus needs to carry extra sunscreen to reapply every couple hours, sunglasses, medications, etc, in addition to all the normal stuff a woman carries. The purse fills up with these necessities and keys always go to the bottom and have many places to hide. After thinking about it one afternoon, I decided a hook on a D ring sewn into the inside top of my purse could be my solution. BAM!!! ...... SUCCESS!!!! I am SO HAPPY with this purchase. It's been a few weeks now since I received the product and sewed it into my purse to hold my keys. This is exactly what I needed! I plan to add these to several purses and also to the inside of my gym bag that I take to physical therapy. I will make a couple ready to sew in and send to a friend who has had the same problem with keys. Then I will use the rest, and probably buy more, to use on the end of little coin purses that I will make that will be large enough to hold a tube of lip gloss or lipstick along with a couple of other small items that teenaged girls can clip to their back packs. I have made Easter baskets for many years for a local organization that takes in orphaned teenaged girls. I fill the baskets with things that the girls home does not provide, such as basic make up items, manicure supplies, nail polish, sunglasses with cases that I sew, and fun Easter items. I'm thinking that I will start sewing zippered coin purses with these hooks attached that they can clip to their backpacks.

good but more light duty

I bought these originally for the D rings to use on some purses I made for Christmas gifts. But what made me fall in love with them is the swivel hooks! I didn't know I needed swivel hooks so I was happy to have them! You can make all kinds of key fobs, hand sanitizer holders, lip balm holders, ID holders . . . These are a great price and a great product!

Initially, I was very excited about these because they worked quite well and seemed like good quality for the price. However, after using them in various projects for about a year, I'd have to admit that I won't be buying these again. The D-rings are reliable and the hooks work alright for small projects (simple keychains and the like) but using them for anything expected to carry weight (shoulder/carry straps, work keychains, etc.) results in a maximum of a few months use before the hooks break. Then your shoulder bag suddenly becomes an oversized clutch in the middle of a store... Overall, they might work for small, lightweight projects but I certainly wouldn't sell anything made with these.
