does its job!
The balloons are sturdy (not so thin that they pop as you inflate them), and they are a glossy black (not dull or matte). Just what I wanted.Once you fully inflate them, if you hold them up to sunlight, you can see the light through them--so they aren't SO thick that they are totally impervious to light. But that's okay; who's that picky. Not me. I inflated them on Saturday afternoon for a party (for grown-ups), and strung them up across the top of the room. It's Wednesday morning and they are all still fully inflated and un-popped.I'm not sure I'd want black balloons for kids, unless I mixed them in with another color, but for the theme of my party, all-black was definitely the way to go. With low lights in the room, and the black balloons across the top of the room, the place looked really cool. And then I switched on a mini-strobelight (also available on Amazon) and we had an awesome dance party.So, yes: the balloons do their job!

Worth the money
These were perfect. The black wasn’t too see through so they were great.

Ok balloons
Four out of the dozen had holes. If your looking for bigger balloons theses won't work. Look great next to a themed balloon. Good balloons if you need them to last only a few hours otherwise they won't last all night. Mine started to deflate after ten hours, worked when I need them to though!

Great, easy buy!
I love these balloons. They are not translucent like many of the other black balloons that I have gotten before. And up close they have an almost metallic look. Slightly sparkly/shiny. I have even use acrylic paint markers to make designs on them and they held up well. If you are looking for black balloons that can get the job done, these are your best bet.

Not the best quality balloons
Not the best quality balloons. If you put them close to another ballons they will glue to the ballon on its side and end up popping

like chalkboard. THEY ARE NOT OPAQUE LIKE THE
These balloons did the job. However I was expecting them to be opaque and there not. I ordered Onyx black, but after blowing them up, they were dusty black, like chalkboard. THEY ARE NOT OPAQUE LIKE THE PICTURE-BEWARE

Suited my purpose perfectly.
Represented the "unborn galaxy" in my Big Bang Theory science demonstration. Filled it with silver confetti stars, blew it up and burst it with a pin. Kids loved it.
