Moonstruck Chocolate Creamy Milk Chocolate Hot Cocoa Mix, 9.5oz (Pack of 1)

My company sent me a gift and it had a couple of packs of dark chocolate hot cocoa from this brand. I looooved it, so I bought more. I stopped looking for hot chocolate a long time ago because how sugary and gross they all are, but this one is a holy grail. Super chocolaty and rich. However, I still did adjustments: they recommend 8oz of milk, I use 12oz; they recommend 4 tablespoons of powder, I use 3. But if compared to other brands, this product is “reasonable” on sugar amount.

Oh my gosh this is so so yummy. If you’re hesitating because turmeric sounds weird to you, commit!! You don’t taste it at all. In fact, this cocoa is super rich and creamy when you follow the directions. Pricey but so worth it.

Bought it as a gift for my mom, she was wanting cinnamon hot chocolate and the flavor of cinnamon with almond too was perfect and just what she was looking for. Good quality, rich, tasty and sweet.

This tastes delicious, but I don't feel comfortable with the hot 'cocoa' label when there's absolutely no cocoa in the ingredients.

Love this hot chocolate! The ginger and tumeric make it 'feel' a little healthier and definitely adds to the depth of flavor. We purchased this originally from REI and was happy to find it available on Amazon. A regular in our basket.

I loved this chocolate after I had purchased my first container before Christmas at REI. It was a seasonal item there, and the only other way to get more was to order directly from the seller on Amazon. It took several weeks to arrive. When it did show up today, the container was UNSEALED, just secured with a piece of tape. There was cocoa dust all over the container and inside the packing envelope. I don’t recall specifically how it was when I purchased it at REI, but I doubt it was closed this sloppily, as I don’t think I would’ve purchased it unsealed. Is this seller, even the producer, and through how many hands did this pass, and why in all the world is it not sealed? It’s a food item! Aren’t there food safety laws about this? I will research this and perhaps the company needs to be reviewed by the relevant food safety agency. This product isn’t cheap. VERY DISAPPOINTING! Unless you want to take a risk about food safety, stay away from ordering this!! I’m not even that picky when it comes to cleanliness, but this is unacceptable, and I have no choice but to throw it away. I will request a refund.

Taste and texture are good, but a small cup of this product has as much sugar as a candy bar. This totally negates any anti inflammatory activity.

I really like how chocolatey this cocoa is. Rich and creamy! I make mochas with it and it dissolves easily in the oat milk I use.
